[Solved]seasonix x 1250w as secondary psu not working

Hey guys; <br /> <br />Got seasonic x series 1250W as a seconadry psu for an additional 3 cards to my rig. I shorted 16 and 17 pin but it did not start and then I removed my primary psu and connected the seasonic to the m/b and it did not start. I read it might be the power cord ground continuity and I check from the input pin that connects to the extension and the female port that connects to the psu and the cable is fine. I don't know what is wrong, any ideas? <br /> <br />Thanks

update: the mobo cable has two ports that needs to be connected to the psu and in my case when I noticed that I also noticed later that someobe turned off the wall socket that is my it was not working.
