I don't agree. Even a small conflict can lead to war. Look at the situation in the United States. Before George Floyd's murder, more than one hundred black Americans were killed by police, but it was after his murder that the rallies began to escalate into riots. I'm sure if anyone wants it badly, this riot will quickly escalate into a civil war.

Don't forget that the ones protesting are a (very) loud minority. If a civil war were to happen, I think it would only affect some of the urban centers,but most of the country would remain intact.

Going off-topic now, geographically speaking for this one.

But in order for a civil war to happen (in the US) in the traditional sense, a total breakdown of lawlessness and violence must occur between at least two opposing groups (with its own army supporting it also), that's causing irreparable damage and downfall to the existing government institutions.

Mind you, there's a Federal government that's a level above the state and local government that the U.S. Constitution mandates that all States uphold a 'Republican form' of government.

And right now, although the issues about George Floyd may have been attributed mainly due to the deeply rooted problem of racism and prejudice by the general Police against people of color, it still remains to be seen if there's going to be a stand-off between two opposing groups (aside from the Police and the BLM movement including their supporters), that would be enough to destroy the U.S. government aside from resolving the issues directly instead.

I’m not sure why Asian countries are suddenly loosing their minds, and raising tensions with each other, and if you’re unaware of what’s going on then I’m referring to the situation between 1) North Korea and South Korea and 2) China and India.

There is always tension on borders between North korea and south korea however this is the first time I have heard India getting involved with china. China was never involved in such clashes and it was always India, iran bangladesh and other countries where there was no peace on border but now chia is also involved in them.

Nah India and China regularly have clashes, maybe not intense. But this is not the first time. They both have nukes and little to no protection against it, so I don't think they will do something stupid. (It's the same situation as India-Pakistan).

You are saying China may be a powerful country. But as an Asian I will say that China definitely Powerful country. She is on top in Technology. And World consider the China as superpower.

Shout-out from Philippines proud to be asian. We asian believe in rising up thru hardwork and not by stealing or looting from other countries that hampered there peace and security.

The reality of Next Asia has also become clear in the world economy Now there are questions about when Asia will rule the world in economics. But as a whole everyone has come closer and it may be too late in the next fifty years Many people think that in the next fifty years, China will be the number one economy in the world not the United States.

Are you saying that china and India have same intense clashes between them like the neighboring country India Pakistan have between them ? I can't see any war between India and china while there have been few wars between India/Pakistan in the past history. I believe this tension between India and china is a new one.

@akram143 the other day I was watching Indian news channels, and the way they were reporting the news it felt like they were calling out to China to come and fight with India. Furthermore they were even claiming that India will beat China swiftly, which was hilarious because after seeing China’s military strength no country in their right mind would want to fight them, unless China starts a war first then that country will have no option but to defend itself.

India is one of the youngest country because it was combination of thousands of small kingdoms after English captured the land and later after Independence pakistan and India got separated but there is no clear borders drawn between them which caused lot of issues and still there is some issues but Indian army never tried to do capture any land, they will attack only if there are intruders and we know where most of the terrorists groups are located.

Yes China is getting richer and stronger by every passing day so it also wants to be more dominant atleast in the region. Obviously there longterm plan will be to dominate globally but right now they are trying to become regional top power which they are achieving slowly.
