And Craig Wright will repay this claim only when he remembers password from Satoshi's *caugh* his own wallet. Which means never  Grin

for sure is a lie but when this claim include in an official legal document then the person that claim the owner of this address is legal responsible for it. Is the same as you accept in a legal document that you steal money or whatever.

it does look like that the scammer has shot himself in the foot this time and badly so. but from what i have seen from this weasel, he tends to find a way to bullshit his way into a very long debate over everything.
this whole thing is costing me a lot of popcorn though...

But he would have to prove the claims. Either of it will not be proven but his reason for doing all these seems to be granted. He only wanted to be in the spotlight every time and he gets the attention being satoshi as he claimed. Nonetheless we all need a bucket of popcorn and have to endure all these because him grabbing attention means the crypto news sites will also put him on the front page.

you dont need to prove anything. This claim has its own value now from the time that he get to a legal document

For the first time from 2014 we have a real persons name behind Mtgox hack.

I wish! Only if it was so simple!

The documents can be quickly chnaged through an affidavit which will say it has been mistakenly added.

Also even if he doesn't do that, he will be able to pay the claims only if he has access to those funds. Apparently this is the biggest mystery in the whole case.

And I agree with Enhu, we all need to grab a bucket of popcorn to see all crypto news website putting this fellow on front page again!

If someone good in writing follows the incidents of this case, may write up a complete script for a blockbuster movie!

I hope someone will do this, patent trolls like CWS totally deserve to get trolled back. He'll probably retract his claims about the ownership of Mt Gox addresses, but there's some chance it could lead to another court battle that will be draining his resources. Sadly it seems CWS has a lot of money on his hands, but at list there's an opportunity to waste his time.

that's funny though. he's been trolling for long already. i hope he will do his soul-searching soon to stop his nonsense stunts. he already gained fame though in a bad way and seems that he has money already until his retirement. so why not, disappear from the media and just live his life to the fullest? I am really curious why he continues to find stunts and creates noise for the public to talk about? what's in store for him doing all these drama?

Quote from: from google
Gox announced that approximately 850,000 bitcoins belonging to customers and the company were missing and likely stolen, an amount valued at more than $450 million at the time.

It is really hard to return back the money that lost during 2011 and 2013. Probably, those who scammed had forget it already. Besides Craig Wright can`t paid that amount even the allegations to him is strong. I just can`t believe that the money scammed ranges in 450M usd. I did not yet join the cryptocurrency that time but AFAIK, it still the huge amount that had been scammed in crypto until now.

I might have been a lot of money but seeing as faketoshi owns a portion of the BSV, I wouldn't be surprised that a lot of investors from 2014 would be running off to authorities to file cases against faketoshi to return him their money. The more lies he makes, the deeper he goes into the rabbit hole.

The only people who will claim this is the same sort of people CW is: delusional. Anyway, while the real MtGox saga is so complicated, with the proceedings for recovery to start next month, we still have people like CW clowning around as usual. How he still has a community of zombie believers I will never understand.

Definitely buddy, he's just one of the government instrument of scamming or pump and dump projects, for the government to see him freely live without be held responsible to all the issues he has caused is a symbol of his association or affiliation to the government. For the validation, he should sign a message from the right Bitcoin wallet address to have a close case, am getten bored now.

Exactly, an asset of the government and a way to control bitcoin once owned by a known personality like CW. He's obviously a fraud and this case should be ended soon 'cause he can't even prove to the judge the ownership of the wallet. This whole act of him is just a waste of time and I hope he stops it right now.

I also have a reason to believe in your presumption because if CSW is not backed by some powerful organization he ought to have been in jail and the MtGox hacked either can't be accomplished by a single person. However, we need to ask ourselves why did he (CSW) abd his lawyer now saying this out now?

If there is one thing I'm wondering, it's how the hell does this guy still get away with all the stuff he's done. I'm not sure how justice works in the USA but if I had the justice hammer in my hands and saw one party blatantly lie, forge documents and then even claim (falsely or not) that he owns the Mt Gox wallet, I'd use that hammer right away on him.

To me it looks like this is a cat & mouse chasing game that's been playing for a long time now, is there any sentence he's going to receive? Going back to Jan-Feb, all we knew is that Craig is waiting for his "passwords" to come to his door - fast forward to June and this is just another proof of his crap..
