these are top coins, its not surprise but IOTA and Tron seem to have gotten the curiosity of these searchers.
considering that these investors already have some BTC with them after searching BTC and bought. do you think they've bought ETH, XRP and so on?

they may not have bought if they were lead to website like ethereum.org, they'd be overwhelmed with the information but if they are redirected to a website like buyETH.xxx or swapping website, they maybe able to get some at least for the 32ETH hype.

It's understandable to have bitcoin as the most searched cryptocurrency on Google, bitcoin is more of a household name for all cryptocurrency and people would always want to know more about it. I was surprised when I got a message from a friend, that she wants to know more about bitcoin, I understood she meant cryptocurrency.

Yeah right, most of my friends do the same.

They think that the whole ecosystem is only bitcoin but once they already gain understanding
about this industry, they are much interested from how things are working together and how they
can be able to manage to gain out from this investment business.

Interesting results... I think that Bitcoin SV is less known by the few masses that gain interest on crypto, it just popped up not so long ago and people don't care that much about "one more bitcoin"...
Concerning Binance coin, I think it is also natural as it has a limited interest for people not using the exchange... for these it becomes only speculation
For now, I am pretty sure that Bitcoin is the top choice for Google searches, while the others are Ethereum and BNB. So far, I think that the growth every year is huge, but bitcoin is still the first search for new people to know crypto.

I think most people search bitcoin on the internet because maybe they're curious what is it and maybe they're curious that's why they search other cryptocurrencies.

Beside all that, the website has some other interesting (but also questionable) stats - https://www.blockchaincenter.net/cryptocurrency-world-map/

Everything is as usual here, because Bitcoin is the basis of cryptocurrencies and therefore most people are interested in Bitcoin and there is nothing to be surprised at, and of course Ethereum is in second place because of its incredible technologies and capabilities.

It seems a little wrong if searching for Bitcoin is because of curiosity, because what I find in my environment is through my friends, they mostly do searches about Bitcoin to learn science and how to get it with various things, meaning they are all not curious, just wanna know and then get it.

Honestly judging a currency by market cap is so wrong. I feel that there are so many coins in top 100 which have utterly no use and and no real world adoption . I hope coins which have adoption get recognised .

Of course, that's because Bitcoin is the parent coin for all Cryptos, Maybe without Bitcoin then all the Crypto you see today, never existed. When people say "digital money" they will find Bitcoin on a Google search.

Hello, according to the website: blockchaincenter.net, these cryptocurrencies are most searched among cryptocurrencies:
1.  Bitcoin (80,8%)
2. Ethereum (14%)
3. XRP (8%) followed by Litecoin (4,7%), Bitcoin Cash (2,7%), IOTA (2,5%), Monero (2,1%), Tron (1,8%), Dogecoin (1,8%) and Cardano (1,5%).

They processed information based on Google Trends.

When you compare it with the market cap, then where is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, EOS or Binance Coin?  Shocked

I am quite surprise about Dogecoin, I don't think that it is also of much interest Smiley). One coin everyone thinks is useless but is increasingly climbing to the high position on ranking crypto

I think Dogecoin can gain its value because the developers use a very smart strategy. They know how to do advertising for the project. They use Tiktok (one of the most used social media platforms) to advertise their project. It created a hype in using social media to promote for the coins. However, Dogecoin can't do anything more than that because the project doesn't have any strengths itself! Even though the promotions can help it to gain the value, the value will come back to where it was.

Why is it wrong to honestly value currency based on market capitalization? can you explain where it went wrong? then why do you feel that there are so many coins in the top 100 that are completely useless? isn't each coin built on a very mature concept?

Just as expected, Bitcoin ethereum and ripple will definitely win the google search, others like dash, Monero and litecoin aren't that on people's mind but still well supported if I have to judge using the market cap they possessed
I agree. bitcoin and ethereum is the top search and trend in google, why? because when it comes to cryptocurrency, first thing that will come into poeple's mind is the word  "bitcoin", other than that, they don't know that there's a lot of successful  alt coins in crypto, They only know  the names but they do not know the value and the origin of it.

Yes. It's not surprising that bitcoin is the most searched crypto in google because it's the most widely known crypto all over the world. And once you came across bitcoin, you will get to know its related cryptos like ethereum which ranks next to bitcoin. Ethereum is the most developed altcoin and has gained a lot of practical uses. XRP and litecoin are just few of the most invested altcoins too that have high potentials.

EOS generally has not shown any progress in the development of its project for a long time. I have not heard anything about the project for 1.5 years. It seems to me that the blockchain is faced with big problems, but they don’t talk about it
Tron and EOS are the worst crypto projects what I have ever seen. They just had only good marketing, but their business is based on promises without delivering real product. Sooner or later Tron and EOS will be replaced by Ethereum or PolkaDOT, that truly fulfill promises.

Without being told, we are all aware That bitcoin has the popularity and interest of many potential cryptocurrency fanatic.
The fact that many more people are consulting Google to know more about bitcoin shows that people are added to the community daily and we would be achieving our dream of mass adoption of cryptocurrency very soon.

I also thought that will happen because BTC dominance over the crypto market is more than 60%. These clearly show why the BTC search is above 80%. Also, some people think cryptocurrency means bitcoin. Though that is not true but I think most of the people came to the crypto world they heard about bitcoin first. BTC is the king everywhere in the crypto world.
Well its not surprising to know that bitcoin is most search on google.
Because if we say crypto it means bitcoin, since btc is the first of its kind it is the most popular. Not just that, it has also huge supporters making it to be the top crypto that recognize by many people.

The market capitalization is a very bad indicator to judge which cryptocurrency is better or bigger or something else. For example Bitcoin SV was created by fork and automatically 2 billion USD market capitalization was created from nothing Smiley.
because so far cryptocurrencies do not have to be valued based on market capitalization, there are still many factors that determine whether crypto deserves to be rated good or not, there are many ways and stages.

I am not surprise at the fact that BTC is the highest here .this is because most people who do not even understand what cryptocurency is  have heard about bitcoin and they go searching to see what it is . There are also a lot of ponzi where they use bitcoin which make it very popular.
