I'm at episode 2 of season 2 in Fargo and the events so far have made me wonder if you'd go to prison for killing a known murderer?
Season 2 spoiler alert:
Rye went in to the waffles place and shot all those people, when he came out he was run over by a car by accident and the driver takes him home. it turns out hes alive and he began attacking the butcher guy , butcher guy killed him in self defence.
so would the butcher guy go to prison if he called the cops after what happened?
what about if when the driver hit Rye earlier that night by accident would she still go to prison if Rye had died right there and she had called the cops

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I don't know the series but if that's the storyline then there's a reason why he'd done. Just like with Prison Break.

Scofield has to let himself go to prison for a certain mission and that's to save his brother in death row.

Exactly buddy! One of the best ever but only until season 3. I really think the reincarnation season of Scofiled just ruined the entire series. Grin

I haven't finished the series so, I don't want to be spoiled.  Smiley

I'm still far from that scene but OP is talking bout' a series that I haven't really watched but I've felt that I have to compare it with the PBs first season's storyline.

I think the reason she didnt call the cops was that she panicked and wasnt thinking straight, but i was wondering what wouldve happend if she did call the cops at the time.

Ive watched prison break too till the last season but it got boring towards the end.
I didnt understand your point tho, i mean in what sense was it related to fargo, the couple in fargo didnt want to go to prison so they tried to hide their secret even tho they would get in danger.

I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons of prison break, especially the first season but it got worst towards the last seasons in my opinion.

Oh and I really would recommend you to watch fargo if you enjoy watching crime series and strange stories. and the characters are just amazing, im really enjoying fargo much more than i enjoyed prison break.
I was watching sopranos before fargo, I loved that too.

We're the same, I'm still in the 2nd season and haven't continued yet. The point that I have compared with PB is that the series that you have mentioned asking this.

if you'd go to prison for killing a known murderer?
I've treated it as a mission just like Scofield.

I don't know what movie you're talking about unfortunately(I barely watch movies thesedays). But in the case of the driver hitting the murderer and not calling the cops to report it, I think it depends on "intention", and whether the hitter(driver) broke any traffic rule that caused the hitting... If it wasn't intentional and the cause of hitting rye wasn't due to breaking of traffic rules, it will be easier for driver in a Just Court of Law especially if she has some good evidences.    It will aswell be easier for the driver's male friend/husband If he can provide solid proofs he was attacked and almost killed at home.
So, it's good to alway get the solid evidences(and better to also have random human witnesses to support the case) immediately before leaving the scene.

I read a little bit about the movie on Wikipedia to understand how the "butcher guy" in your post came about: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peggy_Blumquist  Hope it's thesame movie.

You have no right to remove someone's life.
If you kill a murderer you become like him.
I will never do that, we have a justice system that I truly believe on it and it can give justice for his actions.

I agree with you because in every country there is justice and I will never go to jail for killing an acquaintance. The police will continue their investigation to find the real killer So these negative thoughts, do not.

I'm not familiar with that show, but in real life you cannot take action into your own hand. Not because it's wrong killing say someone who abuses children, but because the law has to protect those until proven guilty. Many times people have taken the law into their own hands and killed innocent people. Then it's like oops.

Hey yeah interesting thoughts and i think thats very true.
Have you seen the movie called The Hunt, i think its a very good and informative example of what you mentioned here.

I'm not familiar with that show, but in real life you cannot take action into your own hand. Not because it's wrong killing say someone who abuses children, but because the law has to protect those until proven guilty. Many times people have taken the law into their own hands and killed innocent people. Then it's like oops.

Exactly. It's probably not against country's law to kill in self-defense... what really matter is that an innocent person is not killed... that is why having solid proof is very important. If the law is very effective on careless killing, people will probably go for the non-lethal approach, so that when you shoot a murderer in self-defense with very effective non-lethal weapon, you get the police to arrest him/her(better on that spot to avoid altering the evidences).
