That's pretty interesting to see that but i doubt that can easily attract the new users to join in injective. It sounds like an incentive to the new developers. 

It should be trader friendly, otherwise, it may look as a complicated one and very few will dare how to use it. Right now, you can test their site as they are giving 100k testnet USDT tokens. So using these tokens, you can already get the feel how to use their platform before their mainnet arrives. Injective Protocol Catapults to Over $1 Billion Valuation after Latest Growth Funding Round to Create a Robinhood for DeFi

The proliferation of decentralized finance (DeFi) continues as a new unicorn is crowned: decentralized derivatives exchange Injective Protocol announced that it has closed $10 million, valuing the network over $1 billion.

Injective Partners with UMA to Launch Innovative Synthetic Products

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with UMA to launch innovative synthetic products.

By integrating with Injective’s decentralized derivatives exchange, synthetic assets on UMA can be made available to our users moving forward. Notable synthetics that we plan to introduce include uGas, a solution for hedging against Ethereum gas fees. In addition, we plan to integrate an ETH/BTC index which would provide an avenue for traders to attain a token that tracks the ETH/BTC price ratio.

Injective's Road to Mainnet: Phase One

Phase One: Peggy Bridge and Initial Deployment
Phase one of the Injective mainnet will begin with the release of the native Injective Peggy bridge which is a decentralized, highly gas-efficient bidirectional bridge for transferring ERC-20 tokens from Ethereum to the Injective Chain.

The initial transfer process itself is quite simple and will consist of depositing INJ into the Peggy bridge contract on Ethereum.

In addition to the Peggy bridge, Phase One will include the initial protocol governance setup so that our community can help set the initial genesis state parameters such as which markets will be first deployed, validator rewards, exchange fees, etc. By doing this we can help to ensure that our protocol is community governed from day one.

Reflexer will Integrate the RAI Stablecoin with Injective's Derivatives Protocol

Reflexer will be integrating the RAI stablecoin with Injective, making us the first decentralized derivatives exchange to support RAI.

Reflexer is a platform where anyone can use their crypto collateral to issue reflex indexes. Reflex indexes are stable assets that are not pegged to anything, very similar to how the US Dollar is not pegged and it is still considered stable. The Reflexer team is backed by the likes of Pantera and Paradigm.

RAI is the first stablecoin on Reflexer and operates in a similar fashion to DAI. However, unlike DAI, Reflexer is entirely administered by algorithms rather than manual forms of governance. In particular, RAI is a non-pegged, stable asset that is solely collateralized by ETH. It is designed to dampen ETH’s price moves and thus provide a more “stable” alternative to Ether as DeFi collateral.

What is an Insurance Fund?
In order to understand the function of an insurance fund, one must first understand the margin system used for leveraged derivatives trading. On a high level, leverage allows traders to enter into derivatives positions whose value is much higher than the collateral posted to fund the position.

As a result, it is possible that the losing party on a trade cannot afford to pay the winning party if they run out of margin, i.e. the position becomes bankrupt. When this occurs, the trader’s position is liquidated and a new trader takes over the position. In the event that the new trader takes over the position at a worse price than the bankruptcy liquidation price of the position, the insurance fund is utilized to cover the resulting deficit.

Full Spot and Perpetuals Trading Release on Equinox

Today we are introducing an entirely revamped Injective exchange. Users can test spots and perpetual contracts for a wide array of markets on Injective in preparation for our upcoming mainnet launch.

Injective is Collaborating with Formation Fi to Create Risk Optimized Yield Farming Derivatives

Yield Farming Derivatives: A Recap

Last year, Injective launched the world’s first yield farming derivatives on our Solstice V2 testnet which allowed anyone to access derivatives that tracked stablecoin yields on protocols such as Yearn Finance.

On a basic level yield farming involves locking digital assets into a protocol which then earns the owner yield. Normally by adding tokens into a liquidity pool, a user (or “yield farmer”) is effectively able to provide additional liquidity for trades or other functions. Liquidity mining allows yield farmers to earn more tokens in addition to the usual return in exchange for their help in providing more liquidity.

Injective’s first yield farming derivative tracked the performance of $1,000 USDT on Yearn Finance’s USDT3pool. Since users can access yield via decentralized derivative contracts, they can circumvent the usual high gas fees or complex interfaces that tend to hamper DeFi adoption.

Injective Mainnet Phase Two: Canary Chain Launch



We are thrilled to launch the Injective Canary Chain which marks the official start of our mainnet phase two! The Canary Chain was officially deployed on June 30 at 1:00 PM UTC with the genesis state found here.

Starting today, users will be able to stake INJ with genesis validators on the Injective Chain. In addition, individuals can bridge over any ERC-20 token onto the Injective Chain using the Peggy Bridge. All governance functionalities have also been released on the Injective Chain, so users can begin to create and vote on new markets on the Injective exchange. Lastly, anyone will soon be able to create and underwrite insurance funds that are needed to trade derivatives markets.

December Highlights

   1. Injective Burn Auction launched with over $700,000 worth of INJ burned in less than a month

   2. Product: Injective Pro crossed $1 billion in total volume traded in less than a month. Injective Chain reached over 15 million transactions processed since going live in November. Injective launched an all-new gas fee deposit program as well as a DMM Program. Injective Improvement Proposal 93 passed to carry out a major mainnet enhancement that added a staking requirement to Injective Astro rewards among other upgrades.

   3. Integrations & IBC: Injective listed Terra UST pairs and the first ever decentralized LUNA perpetuals which reached $50M in volume in just a week. The Injective Bridge onboarded the Terra blockchain via Cosmos IBC, Injective crossed 100,000 price feed requests through IBC.

   4. Ecosystem: Picasso Exchange introduced a swap interface, the Terra community built Lunatics Exchange on top of Injective, Unlimited Exchange introduced a new interface and Huobi Pool started to build a Huobi relayer on Injective.
