it never happened yes,But market still holding stable and that's enough to understand that there is a pandemic that happens and affecting the world,so basically this is normal and we must need to wait.

when I read many articles and forum posts back from 2012-2015 I smile on all written there and all the opinions and predictions. Reality is well out of reach of the imagination of 99.999999 % of people's opinions. maybe this time history will repeat again in a year or so and massive bullrun will happen (why not to $300-500K). Not everyone in the community felt bullish about halving. I didn't, and I wasn't alone. One of the most famous crypto educators Andreas Antonopoulos predicted that 'nothing much' would happen with the price. You can see the thread I created about it here. Bitcoin is not a 'get rich fast' kind of thing, it's a decentralized medium of exchange. So while you're right that people are often too bullish about Bitcoin, it doesn't discredit Bitcoin itself. So while it didn't go to the moon, it did not die either, contrary to hopes and regular predictions made by people who this it's useless. And some such mistakes of Schiff were pointed out by other users.

Only people that mathematically predicted the price of bitcoin will expected the sky rocket to happen just like previous halving and there are also some conditions that hinder the surge in price of the market which current pandemic is among.

Peter Schiff and others that predicted the price of bitcoin halving already priced out only want to make themselves go public because no one can 100% tell the exact trend the market will posed. However, we are closing to the total 21 million Bitcoins which is the reason why the last halving is not effective now but it will be when it Q4.

Halving is going quite well in my opinion, even though there is no price surge like previous halving, btc is still doing very well than rest of other investments during this very difficult period, the price has been very steady lately and not bad at all,
Compare to Gold I think btc performance is more better, even now more people are coming in, so the price increase will come when list expect.

What is the point of attracting negative criticism just for the purpose of attention? Many people did predict that a big bullrun would arrive after the halving. No one expected it to happen immediately.

It might take a couple of months or more. We may be wrong too. Why? Because they were just predictions. We aren't fortune-tellers here and no one guaranteed anything.

If the bullrun doesn't happen in the near future, it will definitely happen later on in the future. Stop spreading your false propaganda against BTC.

Well, it can be a failure to OP it probably because he thought for instant changes and can't wait for the market to recover for the hard dump it happens during the halving.
If that PETER SCHIFF is right and all his prediction, then he is the only one person who could exactly see what will happen next and people will believe him. But that was impossible and we all know that nobody had such mathematical calculation and see in the crystal ball.

All those predictions after halving will still gonna occur. Why not in a rush to see those price? We have many weeks and months to go. The steady price doesn't mean predictions of btc enthusiasts were disregarded. Except of course those speculators that were trying to get famous like McAfee and JP Morgan, I dont think their prediction will close to reality. But hopefully, this upcoming months will be the bull run.

Bitcoin rocketing to the moon and reaching all time high is not a broken promise. I invested in Bitcoin with a long term perspective, if you look at its fundamentals you can see that fiat currencies is losing value by massive money printing while Bitcoin is gaining value because of its quantitative tightening which every unique compared go other asset and doesn't have this capability except for gold.

The sudden price rocket of bitcoin didn't not happen mainly because there's not enough people supporting the hype about it. It's a matter of demands why bitcoin price increases, but with halving, I'm sure that it could take effect in a long term.

I remember such predictions actually, I am one of those who are believing that bitcoin's price will skyrocket but I didn't really put myself into it, I didn't buy and I just wait and see. That's the problem. If we want things to happen, remember that we are part of this, if all of us will buy at that certain point, then bitcoin will sure to increase in price.

Halving is working perfectly fine for me:).  Bitcoin not mooning right after the halving is not the end of the world.  If it crashes it is the opportunity to bag Bitcoin with a huge discount.  If it moon then sell with a huge profit.   If it goes sideway then wait.  As if waiting will hurt that much, we have been doing this for how many years?  Unless someone had sold all his BTC and hoping that he is correct about his decision of cashing out that early.

Please answer this questions diligently
1. Did we notice an increase in price on bitcoin immediately after the previous halving started?
2. Didn't the price of bitcoin reduced drastically even after the halving, before it skyrocket back?
3. How long did we start to experience changes of bitcoin price in previous halving?
4. What makes you think that this year's halving will be far better than the rest that occurred?
If you can be able to answer this questions, I will give you reason why there are delays on bitcoin price from mooning even after the halving

This is the reason why I don't like following predictions of this so-called experts of believers or whatever you name to them. They predicted their own price of Bitcoin in X amount of years and most of them failed and will remain fail.

On the other hand, these are just mere speculations and we can do it too. We can speculate and predict what will be the price of BTC in the next years. The problem is that new investors will use this as a basis and will believe on them which is a bad idea for me.
Overall, prediction can be done by everybody so don't just follow prediction of others. Read the chart and see the history . It may help you.

And who really expected that mooning right after the halving? I will just add that even if bitcoin goes down will not be the end of the world! And possibility for drop is always there, and maybe we will see a few more drops before some significant rise. It's not the first time we read how some people hurry with their decisions, selling too early, and buying too late, for example on top.
I can say that halving is working good for me as well! We are warming up, it's going to be crazy next year!

Talk about yourself. Whose promise did you buy?? I take no promises on the price of bitcoin. The only promise i bought into is that of cutting-edge technology and permission-less decentralization. I love the idea behind it and the fact that i can bet on a novel form of money and follow the technology. If you buy it and listen to "promises", that cuz you are too dense for tech like this.

You and your serious INVESTORS may as well go fuck themselves. This is not some ICO selling you tokens. There is no Bitcoin Corporations shilling you tokens. Go buy Bcash or BSV if you want promises. Bitcoin just IS. Its for you to know about it and use it if you want to (and have the competence to). You don't want it or don't understand the technology then sell. Go buy gold if you want to.
