Staking is not supported in all projects, while you can invest in absolutely any coin... There are not so many reliable projects now, where you can buy a node for POS mining... I think that investing is less risky than staking...
My answer is the reverse thing of yours, maybe staking is really safer than investing. In staking there will be days or months with APY you may cancel it if you want in investing there's no accurate or precise thing that may happen if you will hold a coin for a longer period of time, it can actually makes us nervous and anxious waiting for it to pump, but there's a possibility that it cannot go higher as well, if I will be the one to choose, I rather choose staking, it is safer than investing. |

Staking is investment too and they have different advantages and disadvantages, I think it's better if you do your own research to get the one that really suits you, staking is not my favorite because you can't take advantage big market price once you've staked your coin until the staking period is over

Staking and investing seem alike, if you decide to stake any cryptocurrency you are indirectly investing in it cause before stake you need to buy the coin first after that you can stake it to earn more coins, but be advised that if your staking amount is not that huge, you won't earn much from staking, this is because most of the staking platforms offer a very little APY%, you can hardly see any platform offering let's say 80% APY except it's a scam platform, profits from staking aren't big except you are a whale, so if you want more profits DYOR and invest.

I don't really know much about staking and I won't be talking much about it, but I think staking can also be related to mining. Why investing is the process of buying a coin and leaving it in your wallet for long period of time. From the little experience am having I think the best thing is investment, all what you have to do is buying a coin when you think the price is low and hold it then when you are in profit you can then sell it back. Actually investment is not kind of easy the way it is people think investment is about buy a coin and selling it later there is one main important thing you have to do before buying a coin is Always make sure you do your research very well before buying any coin so you won't end up losing all your funds so do your research well before investing in any coin

Staking is wastage of time after spending too much time you will get a very small amount of coins so go with trading if you really want to get some good profit because trading is always profitable you just have to hold coins sometimes for shorter period and sometimes for longer period of time but you will get your profit. |

I believe traditional investing is a lot better abd safer method to make money in long term. Staking on the other side is rather risky business. Comparing to investing returns can be delightful for sure but you might be sort of locking your wealth away if coin you staked does no bull run. I know you don't have to freeze you money right away in some projects but something about it still doesn't seem charmful to me. It is like creating wealth out of thin air, comparing to investing into proof of work coins like Bitcoin. In the end it depends on users. Although Binance launchpad seems sort of fine to stake.
