Based on my calculation (in the previous topic), it's very appealing to take all prizes, but I don't dare gamble. On average, it should take about 900 bets to hit 300x 3 times. So that's a $450 investment to win back very close to $450 in prizes, and take a total of $1200 by winning all 3 spots in this contest. That's as EV+ as it gets!
However, I'm not much of a gambler (and the standard deviation can be quite large), so I'd be curious to see someone else do this. If you're doing this, the smart thing to do would be posting your entry only in the last hour.
