Why is this on Service Discussion? I think Reputation is a better place. Maybe also require user to sign a message when posting so it add another layer of security.

I do not encourage people to use Telegram to discuss and exchange about their services. Therefore, I also do not support this theme works, because it does not prevent fraud. There is no way to guarantee whether they publish it here. Telegram is a damn tool with the ability to delete messages from both sides, it's a great tool for phishing. Even if you know their username, they can still change it, furthermore, all messages can be deleted, meaning nothing can be used as evidence. What will we do then? Nothing!
Unless you talk to someone who is extremely reliable, you can use telegram. Or not, use this forum as official. I have been fooled that way, so I understand that what you are trying to do doesn't work

Why? Everyone deserve rights to secure their services.

It can be used but why trusted members have to hide their trades and discussions with telegram. Trusted members don't have such needs. They can discuss on Telegram but they don't usually do this. Only suspcious and untrusted members direct you to telegram or other messengers to discuss.

Some people mess up their stuffs in the message and create difficulties for others to verify their sign message.

try changing stuff in the message (add space, add new words,...) and take the same steps. that site will always show you a different address no matter what!

Telegram is for group updates on a project or announcement, it should not be about transactions because like you said, username can be changed and conversation can be deleted, there are so many impersonators in the telegram I seldom login in my telegram account only when I want to get help from a mining site I'm in, I only have 4 groups and 4 friends that I have in conversation.

Knowing someone username could avoid certain fraud if there is a record that has been set. Maybe you are right about dealing with telegram is not good place for trades, ^{but Im talking about avoiding being impersonated, a little bit kick but still helps in my opinion.}

Sorry for that event. Im just imparting an idea which I think could be a way in to improve impersonation so user will be aware whom they are dealing with. If there is a list then somehow they would check on it first prior to dealing with these people that saying they are these people. But feel free not to participate as Ive mentioned its not mandatory.

Im always open for suggestion. Thanks for the feedback, regards to local rule, just wanted to limit it for higher rank cause mostly they are the one being used for such fraud activity. But your right it should be for everyone, anyway gonna think about it though.

Is the telegram group a private channel?
I also think the purpose of the group should be known as well before adding up people. The forum is full of scam and everyone should be clear on his objectives if he wants people's approval and protect his integrity.

I wouldn't share my telegram name. Telegram knows my phone number, right? That would be followed by  my bitcointalk  name with bitcoin addresses scattered over the forum topics. It's a short road to  IP  and so on. Smacks of doxxing, isn't it.

Must registering using phone number, maybe Telegram company will collect your data. But you can hide your phone number on setting if you want everyone wouldn't know your number. Telegram X has feature proxy set on phone application to hide your IP.

It seems we don't have the same opinion here, with me, once the username of the Telegram user can be changed. No way to verify fraud  I take an example, some guy posted his username here, then he changed it and going to scam. After completing the scam job, he changed the username again, becoming the original username. Who will know if he scam?

Thank you! But not too bad for me, it is about $500. I have traded with Paypal, the money is refundable, but I am waiting for Paypal to decide to return it to me. Hope they do not make any wrong decisions
