Become The Banker | Earn Passive Income

○ Invest in the bankroll and earn daily income proportional to your contribution.
○ Investors are free to open and close investment positions at any time
○ The more the player wager, the more is the expected profit for investors

What is SatoshiDice.io?

SatoshiDice.io is a dice gambling site where players is able to predict the roll number and win profit. If the player guesses the correct number range, he/she will win the profit, otherwise the wager amount will be loss. The site has been in development since late last year. This year we have launched the site and have done a few marketing activities, including a signature campaign and ANN on BitcoinTalk.

How does investing work?

Since we launched the site and quite some marketing effort have been implemented, we are starting to see some traffic coming in on the platform. Occasionally there are a few players who wager big amount. To account for future growth and be able to take on more wagers, SatoshiDice.io is opening up the bankroll for public investment. Investors are able to supply funds for the bankroll in exchange for shares proportional to their contribution. If a player wins, the funds move from the bankroll to the player. If a player loses, the funds move from the player to the bankroll. The profits are then split to each investors according to their share, and the same also applies for loses..

Investor can open and close investment positions at any time. The moment an investment is opened, the initial investment amount is exchanged for the share in site bankroll with percentage equal to the ratio of contributed funds to the bankroll fund. When an investment is closed, the share is exchanged back for the initial investments plus the profits accumulated during the period of investment.

How do investments earn profit?
Profit from the dice game is the main source of investors' profit. The site has 1% house edge over the players, so the expected site profit is 1% of what the players wager. In other words - over the long term we expect the bankroll to increase while the players play.

Each investment has a share in site bankroll, and when the bankroll increases while players play, the current value of the given investment increases.

Please note although the site has statistical advantage over players and profit is expected in the long term, this is not a guarantee of the profit because expected profit does not take variance into account. Bankroll will increase and decrease in size depending on players winning or losing. However, over the long term it is expected to increase due to house edge.

What is the investment commission?
To fund the site's expenses and marketing events such as contests, commission is taken from the expected profit the site would make, which is based on the amount wagered for each bet. As we are attracting new investors, we are offering a discounted commission of only 20% for now. This might be increased in future but will be no greater than our competitors', to ensure our commission is competitive.

What this means is that when a player bet 1, the site will take a 20% commission from the expected profit. Since the expected profit for the house is 1% which is 0.01 in this case, the site will take 0.001. The rest of the profit will go to the investors.

The running commission is taken regardless of how much profit the site makes. If the site makes more coins than expected, they all go to investors. If it makes less, the commission is still taken. In the long-term we expect the bankroll should increase and hence investors' profit.

How can I trust SatoshiDice.io?
We understand investors would like a peace of mind knowing there investments are protected in safe hands. Therefore, we will mention the way to handle our investors' fund as follow.

Transparency of Investment Fund
We aim to be fully transparent with all investment reserves. To accomplish this, we will take further action than our competitors', by posting our cold wallets bitcoin addresses together with the signatures to prove that the funds are safely held by us. Investors are able to inspect the funds in the cold wallet at any moment to ensure safety of funds.

Security
We take security seriously, at any given time, over 98% of funds will be stored in our hardware cold wallets, Trezor. This ensures that the majority of coins are stored offline, and large transactions require manual verification and a physical action to move the coins to our hot wallet.

Protection of bankroll amount
To avoid large wager variance that could result in huge winnings, and thus significant loss of bankroll, we are limiting the max profit per bet to only 1% of the bankroll. This ensures any huge winnings will not affect the bankroll too much, while still attractive enough for players to win huge prizes.

Questions?
If you have any questions related to the investment feature, please post it in this topic. We will strive to answer your concerns.

Note: The investment profit is currently turned off on the site, as we are still at the stage of gaining investors. What this means is your are able to invest or divest, but the wagers will not be counted towards investment profit for now. Once we proceed this stage, we will turn on the investment profit, and any wager from there onwards will be taken into account to the bankroll. Similarly, we will also post our cold wallet address and signature below after the investment stage.

Was this the first time of you using their services? Having complaints unattended to for over a week isn't a good thing for a developing company. It is not even good for already developed company as competitor can leverage on such loopholes and carter away with their customers. I hope it is fixed in due time...

It was fine at first, and was really enjoying the site, I was doing smaller amounts and cashed out instantly, but as soon as I won big, it won't let me withdraw it.

And they haven't responded for 9 days now.

I just hope it is a glitch from their end and they are working relentlessly to keep it up right... They wouldn't run for just 0 cent of Bitcoin.

They've actually cleared/emptied my balance now, and still have not replied to me but are still tweeting.
Please can Admin/mod ban this user, and would advise everyone to stay far away from this site as they are not honoring bets they lose.
I'm gonna have to report their domain and web hosting and take legal action so others don't get scammed.

If you have a valid proof you can create a thread in scam accusation. But before creating the accusation make sure you have valid proof and also follow how to report a scam. For that you can visit here: [EDU] How to spot a scammer (Read this before doing any transactions!)

It looks like they aren't liquid enough to allow withdrawal of bigger amounts. After all, they are looking for public investments. If that is not the reason, maybe they think you violated something and still investigating. The clearing of your account balance and the slow response tells me that it's the latter. Have you tried asking on their telegram?

admins can't ban them from there. We read only your words, even if they almost confirm your case in this post
you should do what @sujonali1819 suggested and open proper scam accusations against them.
It is important if there is evidence of fraud, some new potential victims will be alerted. especially after their plan to collect public investment.
I agree with Yogee, they aren't liquid to pay off you 0.9 BTC, maybe this is a way for them to cover losses. but they are all just "maybe" speculations until you not post all evidence.

It is not a good sign for investors, when you opened the site without a proper bankroll and then allow people to play ans when they want to withdraw their winnings, then you stall their withdrawals. How will you garner support from investors if you cannot even reply promptly to concerns raised on a public forum?

I think you should have gathered funding before you opened the site to the public or you should have placed restrictions on the betting deposits to prevent withdrawal issues, like what is mentioned in this thread.  Angry

Your section "How can I trust SatoshiDice.io?" doesn't really do anything to make you trustworthy. After you get the money from investors, whats stopping you to just take it and run? So what if you post your cold wallet addresses, money can be taken from there at any time.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong here, but you are not a legal entity (registered company)? If you are looking for someone to give you money, there is no way any sane person would do that while you remain anonymous guy on the internet with nothing stopping you from taking the money, without possibility of legal action.

That's too bad, I'm sorry for your loss. At least they can't steal from someone else. So this website was simply going bankrupt for whatever reason then decided to "open up for investment" just prior to closing their doors? I'm glad your post was rather quick to notify people at the least.

You are right jayce, satoshidice has changed their domain to CryptoDice.io. But I can not understand why they did not present it here too. Because this is also a sensitive topic also created by their official account. So the domain name changed information should be posted here too.

I am sending temporary negative feedback to OP until we have some feedback and reply.
You should remove the tag. Since they have changed their domain officially so it does not deserve a tag.
