I am deeply sorry from your lost. Many of us will borrow a leaf from what you have put up here. It is very uncommon to see someone that have gone through all these but still sounding bold and share what you have gone through. Depression is like a sickness that when you don't leave it very fast you might be consumed. I will advice you not to always isolate yourself and be brave to always speak up to people that are also going through hard time so as to encourage them. For almost 10 years I had suffered and couldn't afford a meal a day. Sometime I work around the street maybe I can find something on the ground but I never give up. I strongly believe as far as I'm not dead, there is still hope.

 there is still no pandemic on january right ? its okay if your dentist postponed your appointment if there are heavy reasons like covid or family problems on his side but if not then you should follow up it and report it , idk if that dentist can still scam next time   .

I think it's not only you who feels this. many people lost their jobs, and some even went bankrupt because of this. Well, so far, recovery is still ongoing. it's just that, I think not to continue to decline with the situation. however, we need to adapt to this and start all over again. the crypto world is a perfect fit for such a beginning.

Well you're not the only one who suffered an unfortunate situation this year, because the virus itself is the worst happened that all of us experience and still continuously existing. But despite of this we need to think positive and learn from those unfortunate situation, many says 2020 is not a good year but for me its a year that we look forward because our daughter is born last february and its a blessing for us.

Life lessons you should still learn is this :

1. You are still alive!

2. You are still willing and capable to work. (Many with disabilities cannot work, even if they tried)

3. Governments look after unemployed people.

4. You are still healthy. (Corona virus is everywhere)

5. You got your faith, so you are not alone.

6. There are many fish in the sea, even for the unemployed. 

7. Friends are more valuable than Girl friends.

Hope this gives you inspiration in this difficult time... I know several people who have clawed back after worst setbacks and they made a huge success of their lives. (desperation triggers creativity)

In my opinion you are too carried away, life must be enjoyed. I understand your feelings, I was in your position when in 2012.
I will give you a little advice on what you experience, as follows:
- You go to the dentist and ask for your right to be repaired, if there is no news, you must be proactive.
- Everyone feels a pandemic, calm down you are not alone.
- Jobs can be sought again, most importantly you are healthy.
- There are still many women who are more suitable with you, lest one woman ruin your life.
- Money can still be sought, just as great as Warren Buffett often loses.

Starting from zero is what you have to do, as long as we are alive don't ever give up chasing dreams. As long as you have not given up
you have not failed yet.

It's not as bad as it could be. It is better to sit at home than to Wake up in a world where WW3 is ongoing and you are called to be immediately sent to a battlefield .

This is truth OP. This year was pretty good for Jeff Bezos, he was making a lot of money but according to him, nothing is never enough and he decided to cut fees for amazon affiliate members while his profit was skyrocketing.
This year was pretty good for The Walton Family because they made a lot of money via Walmart and other businesses they run, food and other necessary things were the most selling ones in pandemic. And without doubt, Pharma, that is a big business, saw massive profit and will see for a long time.

If you are poor and are happy with it, then why not? What's the purpose of living? To be happy, yeah?
But if you aren't happy with it and just want to give up and adapt on situation, NEVER! Do what gives you a pleasure but don't harms others. This is one life that you have. Once gone - gone forever. No afterlife and bullshits. Never fall on your knees because you didn't achieve your dreams before this moment/seconds.

Exactly, man. You don't have to give care pretty much about everything. Not saying, you must not think about it all but it is good that you knew where to dwell; might be something that'd make you grew better.

If by chance you have spare money, try reading Mark Manson's book "Subtle way of not givin' a ..." & "Everything is ...", well, if you haven't got any you can search some free e-books about it around the internet but don't ever forget on buying one later to support the author as well, 'cause it is a treasure after all  .

It's about self-help books, and I know it would help you a lot given the situations you had, and the possibilities you might encounter sooner. It is kind of odd but the book has too many interesting inputs in it.

Above all you have listed, there is no way for you to surrender. Just think about the street children, they have no foods & clothes, unsustainable life, abandoned by parents and have no permanent shelter. I feel you buddy but we are now in pandemic. We can`t avoid this things will happen to us. We are all amidst of negative situation in life. Just to be thankful that you are breathing because a lot of people are dying but us? We are still alive and kicking.

Just focus on your goals and don`t mind that girl. I believe that there is no word FOREVER.

This has to be the most insightful post I've read today. Firstly, I'm sorry about how things turned out for you this year. It hasn't really been a good year for most people. I'm talking about lost jobs, death of loved ones etc.

I've always know this fact. In life, nothing good has ever came easy. There was efforts and some struggle that went in before it yielded results. This is something must people don't learn. They just want to be rich quick, with little to no efforts.


In spite of everyday that has happened, I really think you shouldn't give up yet. There's always room for things to get better ; for things to change. We just have to keep moving. One day at a time. Don't forget to be grateful and celebrate small wins too (like the fact that you're still alive.) not many people have life right now.

I feel sorry for you, mate. Life can be so hard sometimes that there are times that you don't know what to do when you always fail in your life. I feel the same thing mate that I also experienced terrible things this year of 2020 that I have to sell all of my holdings because both of my parents lost their jobs before lockdown, so it just happened that we all used our savings and my investments to provide all of our daily needs this community quarantine lockdown.

I am terribly sorry about all of your loss but 2020 doesn't sound like that bad for you at all. You figured out on January that your dentist is not a good one and you should find a new one, since you have been waiting since January I am assuming it is not a root canal operation (which would be required urgently and not wait for months) so you could find another one when this pandemic is over and get rid of the bad one.

February pandemic started is a whole global thing, it is not just about you, it is about all over the world and every human.
March, there is over 10 million people lost their jobs just in USA, there is over 100 million all over the world, it is horrible but it is what it is right now in the world.

April, good that she broke up with you because you shouldn't be with a person who wants you for money to begin with. May- June that is your own fault, shouldn't have gambled all of your money, that is literally a mistake you did upon yourself that nobody else is guilty about.

I can tell it’s not easy because I have been through similar things in life and I’m working really hard right now get myself back up.

I might not be happy now due to the things I have passed through in life, but I still know that they have taught me a really good lesson. But, I am still happy that I had to go through all these things while I’m still young, so there is still much time for me and things are starting to work out again, just a matter of time. Here is how 2020 went for me :  

January ... lost my tooth went to dentist ,she should have fix it ,payed money still didn't heard from her not even now
February... pandemic started
March ... lost my job
April ... Girlfriend dumped me for good do to fact i am poor  and she was only interested in money
May - June ... Lost all my savings at the casinos after lockdown do to fact i entered a depression

It must be a dream ,it's not real ! nothing makes sense anymore ...

I am glad you have come back to accept the fact that now we must return and surrender to those who have and give us life. with you to read the Holy Book and praying, you begin to surrender everything to Him so that all problems can have an answer, at least as bright as the hope that you will go through can be channeled and hopefully there is an answer to the solution, but still the hard work of yourself must also be carried out.
