[ANN] [Waves] Sportiwo - Become part of the biggest open sport network and earn

We are presenting a new token on Waves platform: Sportiwo.

This token will be the main currency for the new sports web portal: sportiwo.com

The main idea is to allow users to participate in an open sports platform, where they can create sports competitions, enter data, and share it.
And for all that activity they will earn some points that can be later converted to cryptocurrency.

We decided for a token on Waves platform because that is easy to create, control and trade, with no need to invest in own cryptocurrency (for now :-))

The website is almost ready and will be launched very soon, we hope in less than a week.

With our long time experience in sports projects and with this idea to couple it with the crypto, we hope that this can be found interesting for both worlds.

I agree that creating waves token is very easy and you don't need to spend money but have you thought about the long term goals of this project? Very rare that a waves asset can pull it off in the market, can you name at least a couple of waves assets that are successful in the market. Very hard, right? So I hope, while it is still early, think about your options. I'm not discouraging you to use the waves platform, but assess about your future on this platform.

If you have long years of experience in sports projects, at some point you encounter some potential private investors. Why not approach them and pitch your project? So at least you can get initial funds and create your own blockchain, if it is possible. Just throwing some ideas here.

Yes, that is our main goal. first to see how interest will be in a new project, and how it will evolve in the beginning and through the years.

If it can be proved to be interested, then there will be no problem investing in our own cryptocurrency, especially because we have the plan to launch many games on a website that will provide some fun and also rewards to users (something like virtual betting). What is better for that than cryptocurrency :-)
And I hope that games can be interested also to some investors.

As opposed to sports software, in the cryptocurrency world, we have less experience, so every idea and suggestion is welcome.

Our team is small but well determined to start something new and go into challenges.

I think you have better chance if you create an eth token. It will require small amount of eth maybe, for the gas fees. But very small that you can very well afford. I don't think many people will avail your free tokens as it is under waves. But who knows? I'll give you one link how to create an eth token. But there are other tutorials out there.

Thank you for your suggestion for eth token.  We will consider it.

We decided for Waves token currently, because we already have installed full node and have tested API functions for transactions (for now on testnet only).

Since the website isn't completed yet, let's just talk about what's written in the first post.
Can you share with us which "sports projects" these are that the team has a "long time experience" with?
Also, I do hope you guys have plans of moving out of waves network 'cause as many the other users here have stated, not many waves asset has actually succeeded in crypto-sphere.
Most have moved to either Ethereum or TRON. I would suggest you guys do the same.

Lastly, being in TRON, if you're lucky, Justin (the father of all hypes) might even hype up your token and that could help you raise awareness about your project.

Website is already completed and will be launched tommorow, so we can catch up new season that will start soon.
It is internationalization of some projects that already exists as brands in some european countries.
Now we just want to add aspect of cryptocurrency as new feature to reward future users for their involment on website.

Decision on crypto backend is not final, and we have some time to consider it until site reach its full potential.
Users will collect their points, but it will not be converted to tokens immediately.
Our idea is to allow them transactions after some verification process of entered data, for examle on half-season (end of year).

Until that time we plan to check and consider other options as well.
As I mention already, we have working proof of concept for Waves token.

I don't think so. That just makes more confusion as to where the project is really headed and what the future plans for it.
It's best to just decide on one and then focus all your efforts on building your project on that.
I think the better choice for you would be ETH or if you can build your own blockchain.

I am afraid that building my own blockchain is too difficult and an expensive path. Or I am wrong?

Even I am a developer, I have no much experience in blockchain, except for using it :-)

Also there a lot of scams, I learned that on my own, when I trade a lot of such coins.

Our idea is to have at a first a working project, which will attract people, and then try to monetize it with crypto.
Maybe if the project becomes of interest to some investors, then we can talk about an ICO.

But for now, we are going in small steps (but with big plans)
