Miner is a role unique to cryptocurrencies, all other roles can be encountered in other fields. Miner is also the most interesting role, because essentially it is entrepreneurship but it is also the thing that makes the backbone of a blockchain.
Bounty hunter is an interesting role too, because it's a very low skilled worker that does tasks for a promise of coins/tokens that might be worth something in the future. In real world people rarely work for anything other than real money or at least some useful commodity.
Miner and Bounty Hunter, love it. That was exactly what I was looking for.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I think you had mentioned all the roles that I know, I am not that so expert about cryptocurrency so only a few things I know for the roles of this cryptocurrency, two of the best and familiar roles for me are the investors and traders because I am doing both investing and trading, both are risky but in order for us to reach something we should take a risk, even though we're not sure that we can make money on that, there are still chance to gain money, just believe on yourself, knowledge and skills are enough. I think you have named most of the suitable roles for the blockchain industry. Actually, almost everything that we have in most industries can play those roles in this tech. How about those instructors, teachers, educators? or do they count in as advisors?
Well said, there are already some universities that teach blockchain and cryptocurrency, they are already part of this what we called roles because they are exploring the world of cryptocurrency.

Everyone has their respective roles on blockchain or crypto, usually depending on our preferences. For me the role is suitable in cryptocurrency namely as a trader, investor, and bounty hunter. Because I have mastered all three roles, and lived with that roles for 4 years.I only carry out roles that I consider profitable, to be honest because I'm a typical person who is money oriented.

You have mentioned many different roles that exist in that so-called "blockchain" ecosystem, however the most crucial part of that is still missing. In order to grasp all the complexity of the bitcoin and blockchain systems, you first have to understand what it is and how it works, why it works and research as much as possible. It is not possible to understand all new information without people who know how to explain complex parts in plain language. They are educators, instructors, mentors. People who write books, articles, guides, code samples, etc are playing one of the most useful roles here. As technology evolves, a lot of people start to educate others how to trade, invest, develop, use, contribute in that technology thus making it more friendly for new people.

It is good too if they have a database and they want to upload into the cloud storage because it is more efficient and no one can access that information. What's the database and cloud storage for? I think the main thing is about the roles and opportunities that can be made through blockchain. I think you have named most of the suitable roles for the blockchain industry. Yes, if we search for those universities even in the online teaching platforms. There are courses that are tackling this and with the guide of those experts in that role as educators.

I like your honesty, you are not a hypocrite and say that all your roles are money oriented. I also have several roles that I have lived up to now. Become a trader, bounty hunter, investor (but very rarely). Although everything is oriented towards money, at least my role can also be useful for others or for this forum. some people might have other roles in cryptocurrency. each role makes the blockchain and crypto stronger and more recognized by many people.

That's why I started this topic so we can find out how many different roles, jobs and positions blockchain/crypto has opened and even created some new ones.

Hey guys. I was thinking the other day about people that are involved in blockchain. What I mean by that is how many roles are there currently which can be associated with this new technology.
For example: There are Traders, Investors, Entrepreneurs, Developers, Bitcoin Maximalists, Experts, Advisors, etc...
That was just of the top of my head, but I'm looking for more input from you guys. It would be great to know what type of people are involved in Blockchain/Crypto and how many different roles can they have in the space.
Which roles do you think people can have in Blockchain/Crypto?
I don't think 'Bitcoin Maximalist' is a role. And apart from what you've mentioned (+ miners and bounty hunters mentioned by others), there are CEOs and CTOs of various blockchain startups, communication managers and marketing officers. Plus there are people researching the impact of blockchain and cryptos as well as educators sharing knowledge about it. Not to mention that one can do potentially any job and get BTC as a salary, so the spectrum widens significantly. I am sure the industry creates many jobs of all kinds, which is especially good on the edge of the economic crisis and people losing jobs because of the pandemic.

It seems that you already mentioned here all the Role Title in Crypto Industry. Growing individuals that are working in this field has designated roles based on the kind of job he is doing. But I agree with the one that says, all the roles mentioned was for the positive side, and i think its right that within the certain field of industry or even in the real world, there' s always a villains. Those people that brought negative vibes here in Cryptoworld can be considered villains, for they ruined the smooth flows of blockchain jobs. Maybe in the near future this roles will be added more and more and it doesn't matter to me what kind of roles do we have here as long as we give each other an equal respect.

I guess that would be a huge list of roles that people are in who are involved in crypto. I am an IT guy and I have many friends from different roles who are involved in crypto. Some are business men, few are retail shopkeepers, civil engineers, programmers, students etc.. I have friends in all these categories who are involved in crypto. I am sure there are much more than these in the actual world who would be involved in crypto.

The world of cryptocurrencies is very wide, you can make donations, start a project. For example My role in the MintMe platform which is the one i am currently using that of entrepreneur . In my case, i started an entrepreneurship that i had in mind from a long time ago and this platform gave me the opportunity and in turn to monetize it. This platform offers the tools that you need, whoever has any questions about this platform can ask me.

Practically every industry is transitioning into the blockchain space now, so any job you find in the traditional economy, you'll also find its equivalent in the crypto space.
But from what I've seen, the common directly related jobs include;
- Blockchain developer - Smart contract developer - Full stack developer - Growth hacker - Product managers - Copywriters
If you're looking for a job in the industry, there's plenty of different crypto-focused career sites...
