Yes OP i saw long time ago 5001 friends in my account.
But after time it was corrected and back again 5000 friends, So i think it was because of their technical error. Facebook is being added many new analogy so it can be a problem to their system upgrade.

Sort of bug.

As said, if the algo of facebook finds out that it has overtook the 5k friends limit. Then the last one added might be gone or depends how their system works and it could be any random.

Albeit, if that's permanent then lucky to finally exceed 1 friend. But those quantity of friends you have, do you know most of them?

Actually there is a Update yesterday and there are tons of complaints i have seen in my wall,Some has experienced not seeing messages in their messenger.

While others cannot see any post or their walls has no activities,same as the notifications.

But just now that i saw this kind about having 5001 friends,Instant celebrity lol.

I also so my friends list having 5001 no worries about.
There are also a bug going on facebook where your account is being duplicated this happen a month ago and there are many dummy account created.

I think I never ever have 5000 friends in facebook but I know that it is the limit. Well before, I wanna try it because I want to use it in facebook campaign so i will earn big but I have no time to accept or send many request that is why I did not reach 5000 friends. That 5001 is only a Lag I think, sooner it will turn to 5000

Weired! Facebook is broken I think, you should report this bug to them they might reward you for the bug report.

How on earth are you able to have 5000 friends, are they all friends or they are followers? I do not have more than 200 friends and some of them I have never spoken too.

It's my first time how is possible 5k up friends? Actually this is fixed or just show? Unbelievable because Facebook rules 5k friends and unlimited followers. So maybe it's their system problem and hope soon solved it.

I'm sure he don't it's hard to reach 5000 Facebook friends with you knowing all of them, I only have 1000 friends and I don;t want to add more because in case my account is lock I have to answer random pictures of my friends and give them a name, so Facebook always remind you to only add people you know, because it can get your account lock.

I haven't reached the 5000 but I'm making sure that most of them I know if ever I'll get to that point.

Most likely many of them are Facebook friends which we only knew through the social network.

That's right if the person is a bounty hunter.

But I have plenty of friends who reached that limit but they're not into bounties or cryptos. They're just being friendly through social media.

That's a very normal thing, i also found it around 7/8 years ago. I saw many Facebook accounts where they have "5001 Friends on Facebook", even i also experienced this.  it's a technical problem & will be fixed soon within Somedays

This is not a facebook page, this is just someone's personal account and probably bought friends count to participate on bounties which might caused the error in number of friends.But don't worry not much good projects are conducting facebook and other shit campaigns anymore so these people will get useless tokens for sure.

Maximum allowed friends to have in a facebook account is 5000, after that you only can have followers.
