The reason so many people have made the switch from facebook to instgram is just this reason alone.

If Facebook is going to limit us to only 5000 friends then they expect us to move over to Instagram where we can have millions of followers.

That's awesome, congratulations. Do you know all of them personally or its just your crypto account? I supped with Facebook after university because it was taking too much time away. In the end you see a lot of posts and pictures of people you haven't seen in a long time. Especially when studying abroad it is very hard to keep properly on touch.

Mate it was a Bug happened last year , that's why OP posted that because of the situation and he is amazed how large the increase of his friends .

it is definitely a bug or a technical error a personal account cannot have more than 5000 friends, why then this limitation? to be able to go further you need to transform your facebook profile into a page (therefore into a commercial profile)

pure bugs and conditions like this have been very frequent...
I haven't opened Facebook for a long time, but often when I open my FB account, a strange thing like this often happens. not so important in discussing anyway IMO 'lol'.

Yes OP i saw long time ago 5001 friends in my account.
But after time it was corrected and back again 5000 friends, So i think it was because of their technical error. Facebook is being added many new analogy so it can be a problem to their system upgrade.

I can't imagine my Facebook account reaching 5000 friends because I cannot keep up with all their status updates I prefer my account to be lesser but friends that I really know and I can chat, those who are active in bounty campaignS can have that number of friends, they need a good number because this is their qualification on the stakes of the allocation and I'm not active on social media bounty campaign.

My Facebook friends don't even reach 1000, so it's pretty awesome if anyone manages to have friends reach 5000. I think it's better to only have
Facebook friends that we really know, so we don't get too bothered by status updates of people we don't know. Some people really want to have
a lot of friends on their Facebook for several reasons, one of which is to be able to join the bounty campaign. Since I've never followed social
media campaigns on this forum, there's no reason for me to have a lot of friends on Facebook.

I think it's about time Facebook changes the default 5000 friends and change it to 7000 or even more, those active on Facebook since it's creation have to create new account because they cannot add more friends, so instead of creating a new account they should just increase the number of friends that you can add.

Yes, since 2014. Because at that year, I feel that Facebook has become more sensitive, especially for people who think they can talk freely without limit. So that makes many people, especially my friends, angry with the other friends because of "free of speech." That is why I decide not to login into my Facebook account. I leave it until now and do not when I am online on Facebook.
