Rules of the game:

You toss bananas (using mouse to aim) and attempt to hit the opponent gorilla.

In blue mode you can make 0.1 to 0.3 mictoBitcoin with each successful play. We support this kind of play with small ads. This mode is FREE to play!

In silver or gold mode, you put in 10 or 100 microbit coins. Use your banana throwing skills to acheive better results. If you are a highly skilled thrower, your odds are even, no house advantage!

Enjoy!

http://gorillabitbattle.com/

Here's the new feature for GorillaBitBattle: You have a balance now that keeps track of winnings as usual, but also allows you to make the gold and silver plays. So now, you can build up in blue mode (free) and directly make silver and gold plays. As usual, you can just transfer Bitcoin in from an account if you want to play silver and gold plays immediately.

And, as usual, completely fair odds if you hit the other gorilla! Smiley

By the way, fikriwic, what kind of referral link where you thinking about exactly?

Best Wishes and Enjoy the Game!

Hi coinnewbit, it works like this: You put in your bitcoin receive address, and then you can send the current balance to yourself. As soon as the bitcoin networks verifies the transaction, it will arrive.

Enjoy!

Hi coinnewbit

"Blue" plays are free, so you can always win.

"Gold" plays cost 100microBitcoin each. Here are the odds for Gold plays (from the detailed odds page):

Golden Gorilla Plays
Cost: 100µB
If you win the round:
Reward: 10 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 20 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 30 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 40 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 110 µB 28.6% Chance
Reward: 380 µB 14.3% Chance
If you get hit: 0 µB

Best!,

so it costs 100 ub for one gold round?
edit: used my 10 ubtc to play a silver round. I won but i only got 1 ub. there's a 47.6% chance of profiting, and thus you will always lose in the long run.

Hi coinnewbit, if you consider the amount of all of the rewards, you can see that there is no "house advantage" if you hit the opponent. The breakdown for silver is like this:

Cost: 10 µB
If you win the round:
Reward: 1 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 2 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 3 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 4 µB 14.3% Chance
Reward: 11 µB 28.6% Chance
Reward: 38 µB 14.3% Chance
If you get hit: 0 µB

Here's how the average reward would be calculated.
(1 * .143) + (2 * .143) + (3 * .143) + (4 * .143) + (11 * .286) + (38 * .143) = 10

So on the average, you get back as much as you pay if you hit the opponent each time.

Best,
-rick

I like this, it's quite an interesting concept, and it looks like the house edge is dependent on how bad the player is - if they always miss then the house will always profit Tongue

BA Computer Science, University of Oxford
Dissertation was about threat modelling on distributed ledgers.

erm... you pay 10 ubtc per round right? so every round you would only have 47.6* of getting back 11 ubtc or more rite?

Thanks, yes that's how it works. Like compare blackjack for example. As you know, if you play blackjack will skill, the house edge is small. If you play blackjack without skill though, the house's edge is effectively higher. (In GorillaBitBattle, if you throw bananas with high skill, the house has no advantage, edge is 0.)

Update: just added a feature where a bitcoin occationally appears in the sky for a round and you can hit it for bonus. Feels like a more authentic bitcoin game now Wink

This is a game that requires serious skill. One small error and you lose. Will keep an eye on this to see if it goes further.
