I wanted to know if anyone has an answer for me. If i still have my public/private key, can i withdraw the BTC that i previously put into PlusToken using those methods since Plustoken has shut down?
First you need to find out what happened to the plus token and also; did you invest your bitcoin into the project? If you sent btc in the hope of receiving plus token back then; then you do not have bitcoin again; but plus token. Well knowing full that plus token is closed; its a 50?50 scenario for you It is not even 50:50 , it is completely 100% on the scammers part. I am sorry to say but OP's greed to earn more has today let him to a state where not only he has lost his Bitcoin but also recieved tokens that have zero value. This situation should set an example for all newbies that there is no shortcut to earn money.

There is so much proof here that Plus token project is indeed a scam. Even if you have your private keys, haven't you said that they have shut down already? So, how can you access it? I am sorry but it is impossible for now to get back your btc from them, they surely taken it away. They have moved huge amount of bitcoin last time that affected the btc market. And that includes your bitcoin so there is no chance that you can get it back now.
Hope that will be a lesson learned mate, choose wisely where to invest and where to put some funds in a legit project.

No, they are known to be one of the biggest scams in history. Even if you have your private key, you cannot simply withdraw it and get your money back. They are scammers, they already have taken your money and there is no way to bring it back. As you have said, Plustoken has shutdown, meaning there will be no one in here who can answer you on how to bring it back but the team itself.

If your tokens has no value then you can't do anything with that and Plustoken is a scam project so everyone who invested their btc to buy this coins completely lost their capital. If you can't afford to lose the money then you shouldn't have to invest on new projects but now ita over hope you learned your lesson.

Very confusing question if you send your coins to Plus Token then it's not part of your wallet anymore even if you own the private key you only coins that are in your wallet at the time you are looking at it. The only way you can retrieve it if the authorities prosecute these people behind the plus token scam and authorities granted back your token you invested in the scam project, or scammers refund your coins, these are the only way.

Honestly I'm never seen anyone claiming here that has recovered a money invested in scam projects, usually the game is just accept the loses but never forget as you'll need to learn from that mistake, and move on.
I don't know how the legalities work on this case, but AFAIK, the funds were not recovered yet and if ever it will be recovered, it will be the government which jurisdiction this project would fall will liquidate or distribute the money to the investors, and there's a requirements that investors has to comply, and the most important requirement is to prove that you have really invested to this Plustoken scam.

Its a big scam and it's all over crypto news sites the authority will surely find a way to recover all those stolen funds but surely not most of it and small investors might not get their funds back and it will take a lot of time months or even years.

Most of those who have lost money in PlusToken has given up their efforts and moved on. Perhaps you should also do the same. It has been more than a year and the masterminds are still at large. A few of the fringe players have been arrested, but no coins have been recovered from them. And all the while the stolen coins are being laundered on various exchanges, such as Kraken, Bitstamp and Mercado.

I think this is impossible, especially if the project ends in a scam. The funds that you provide will automatically be taken by the project developer to enjoy. My suggestion is more selective especially if you participate in ICO, because in my opinion for now it is very risky.

No, you can't get it back anymore.
That's right, the answer is very simple. A big NO. I don't know why the OP is asking it here. Does he really think that he has the chance to get it back? It's ok to ask. He seem innocent and that's why he's asking if there's a slight chance of getting back what's lost to him. I didn't even gave attention to that plustoken but it's surprising that a lot of people has been victimized by that scam. As a matter of fact, the last time when the market plunged, it was reported that btc from this scam has been sold and that's the reason we have experienced a massive dump.

Plus token, cloud token same ponzi shill. You all won't listen when you're warned. You were convinced by the so called leaders that made money off of you by making you join. Bad news, there's no way to get your investment back because they ran already. I don't know how much you lost actually but I don't think any legal steps is going to work things out because you would spend more money on it more than you invested.

OP did not come back here to clear his questions he doesn't seem to understand that once he sent his coins there is no way to get it back even if he owns the private keys, I wonder he buys and invests without understanding anything about how this technology works, question is very unclear and will be misinterpreted by readers.

The money is gone. PlusToken was a Ponzi Scheme that collapsed and the high-level scammers run with the money. They signed a Bitcoin transaction with the message "Sorry, we run". So as you can understand there is no way to get your money back. Any cryptocurrency you send them was deposited in wallets controlled by the scammers and most of the BTC they extracted have already been sold through various OTC desks. Sadly the money is gone. I understand that it is frustrating and I don't know if there will ever be justice delivered on this instance. You need to move on and never trust anyone, especially projects that guarantee high returns.

Your money is long gone, you make the payment and transaction got verified in the blockchain, there is no way to reverse this, plustoken is one of the most popular crypto scam projects, move on and spend time learning how to detect scam projects so you won't be a victim to another again, I'm sorry for your loss

You already know the answer to that, plustoken has turned into a scam, in fact one of the largest scams in history, and you have no way to get that money back, unfortunately for you and anyone that ‘invested’ in it now you will have to suffer the consequences of your mistake, more experimented users on the forum warn constantly about the risks of investing in HYIPs and this is the reason why, we want newbies to earn money and increase their capital but they need to do it in a realistic way, HYIPs always collapse without exception, several of those responsible for the scam have been arrested but I do not see any mention of any of the funds being recovered and even if part of it is recovered you will have to demonstrate you invested in the project and how you got that money on the first place.

its already answered above its scam project there is no way you can have back your money stolen by them . Just forget about it and move on that the only thing you can do by this time. Find other investment that will not turn scam someday legitimate real world business what you should looking now not any investment scheme that offer some amount of money in exchange for your investment. It baffles me how people in 2020 still invest in Ponzi schemes and yes PlusToken was a smart scam as they pretended like they are using the money from people in developing wallet and other services but one has to imagine the abnormal returns they were providing was beyond imagination and if they had such a sustainable and scalable project they would have taken loans from banks. The worst part when I was reading about their scam was they left a message in transactions which read as "sorry we have run" this just makes me so angry I mean like scamming was not enough for them so they decided to rub wounds with salt. I mean how inhuman one can get now a days, it is beyond imaginations.
