 I'd like to share a status update on both mystery 3 & 4.


Mystery 3:

The substrates are on their way to Switzerland to be delivered to the Hologram supplier. ETA for this: early August. After the holograms are applied, and the sheets returned- The notes will be printed in Switzerland within 48 hours of that process. The goal here is to get them ready as quickly as possible by streamlining.

Mystery 4:

Tom is working with us to produce the intaglio plates in early August. Mystery 4 will be printed in the UK. Shipping will begin on the same day as delivery.

What does this mean if I ordered both mystery 3 & 4?

You will receive two shipments. This is at no additional cost for you.

Will you keep us updated on the progress?

Yes; our goal is to be as transparent as possible with you.

When will I get my notes?

Delayed ETA: 30.09.2020 Q3 This is our goal that by this date all orders are shipped!

What have you learned from this?

It is clear to us that in the future our products should no longer be offered as preorders to the general public. There is too much risk on the buyers end. Furthermore, we should try to be more communicative with you.

This is still great news to hear these will still be released - I just wish there was a way to pay with crypto - I will have to wait till someone here buys them and then sells them on here - hopefully not for 3x the price lol

We are based in the United Kingdom. The reason why you may have seen deliveries from NL is due to Mitchell, (one of our official distributors) handling the Zug notes.

Until the end of 2020 the UK is still classed as in the EU. After that we will have to asses what our options are if the UK is no longer viable.

and when i couldn't find how to pay in crypto, i just left the site (and now am looking on this board instead for some)
i think i left a support message on the site about it

anyways, i look forward to these notes, imo Polymerbit stuff is just some of the highest quality physical-crypto you can get
you guys never cease to amaze me, and im sure 3 & 4 will be no different

I bought a couple of penguins when they first came out early this year, paid using Fiat.

Nothing wrong with it - I don't use personal funds, I use the business's funds and my business makes it's revenue in crypto - so to buy in fiat requires that I sell the crypto and get fiat cash - I prefer not to do so as much as possible. I have done it a few time though.

Then you know you always spent X USD on whatever you bought later down the road instead of going oh fuck, I paid XXX USD now that BTC has gone (pick your direction). Crypto can be easier, but why bother when crypto is better than Trump-bucks in the long term? Especially when you have to report all the BTC spends to the IRS anyhow...

maybe - but I still prefer to pay in crypto. If I am cashing out crypto to buy fiat and then use fiat - the whole change in btc value is still in play as it would be if I paid in crypto - the only difference is all the fees associated with fiat.

i mine crypto, and prefer to just use it directly for purchasing as much as possible

Personally, i have to be very strategic in my situation how and when i cash out my BTC (if at all)
as anything cashed out as profits held under a year is uber taxable, yuck
and i dont have credit cards, used to, but cut them up years ago, as BTC really made me realize how toxic debt was :/

Mystery 4 is confirmed as shipping next week.

We are still waiting for the hologram substrate for Mystery 3. The design is ready and its a matter of printing it.
