One person on their own is extremely biased, you need a group of people at least with varying ideology and competence to ensure you're emphasising accurate pro's and cons of the technology and coin...

I've checked your most posts/threads, are about the negative sides about Bitcoin. So, I believe that whatever we say about BTC, you will avoid it. You believe on what Peter Schiff says, always arguing with his statement and also always directing people to no longer believe in bitcoin. But the question is, why are you still here? Are you really trying to make people aware that they are no longer interested in Bitcoin?

Yes, you're right.
He always argues about something too risky and bad about BTC without considering the benefit or advantages of BTC. It's totally wrong when we only see a thing only based on one side.
Moreover, everyone in the crypto world also has known and understood the risk of the crypto (BTC and also others0. Losing money on it is usual, but it will depend on how we manage the risk and our funds on BTC. Every investment may be risky, but it will depend on our strategy. We may not need to fear of his statement if we can analyze it by ourself.

As to some Bitcoin believers fully closing their minds from any contrary ideas, I have observed that somehow. I cannot tell whether they are really convinced 100% on Bitcoin or they're just too invested on it that they ended up as cult-like or hardcore believers, entertaining nothing that does not approve or show a hint of doubt on Bitcoin and its future in one way or another.

But these people are no different from those who are not seeing anything good in Bitcoin. Objectively speaking, Bitcoin is an alternative really worth appreciating.

There would be no person who will agree on what you re saying, bitcoin lives for almost 11 years and it helps us for so many years, yes it's true that there is a risk in cryptocurrency especially on the crypto activities such as investing and trading but if you know how risky both things, all will be fine, you will limit your budget on doing a thing because you already have an idea about it. There are many bitcoin users who are strong believers to the bitcoin but once they have read against on what they are believing they will really accept it, especially if it is really legit information.

Indeed, you are exaggerating your statement for that 10 minutes, cryptocurrency is very broad there are many things involved in it and 10 minutes is not enough to learn about all things.

Majority of the people here are not ignorant about risk that you been talki'n about, it kinda be learnt within 10 minutes as you said! But here's the deal, we are promoting freedom of speech same with freedom of financial abused. Abused made by centralized institutions and government in terms of financial governance. If you are defending any of your rights because most of your posts have been deleted by moderators then you must improved your way of expressing your ideology  and perhaps i think, not in this forum.

The bar for "compelling" seems to be really low too. In fact, all the tropes and formulaic "eye-catching" headlines actually work in this space. Referencing the title of this thread for example.

If you hate Bitcoin that much,just don't use it.I've been using Bitcoin actively for about 4 years,without any problems,so nobody can convince me that there's a problem with you call "Bitcoin Trust".
I don't consider myself a hardcore Bitcoin fanatic or believer.I know that some day Bitcoin might be destroyed by the governments,or some better altcoin might replace it(maybe after 30 years).
Everybody has his own opinion,but preaching and trying to convince other people about some BS is what I usually avoid.

I'm not sure what you are referring to as Bitcoin Trust.
Are you talking about the Grayscale Bitcoin Investment Trust? Otherwise, you should know that there is no trust involved with Bitcoin. We don't need to trust a third party that will perform according to our directions. Bitcoin is a unique decentralized network that eliminates the need for trust. With Bitcoin, you only trust the network. It excludes malicious actors and does not reward them. Banks and other centralized systems demand trust. Bitcoin doesn't. I think you need to dig a little deeper into how Bitcoin works and you might understand why there are fewer risks involved than what you think.
In any case, I think that you should definitely watch this educational video by Andreas Antonopoulos.

Most of the early investors sold or spend some or all their Bitcoins already, enough to make their lives easier. The early investors are not the ones you are referring to apparently. The way I see it, this is the third wave of Bitcoin adopters that hold, get involved and of course, hope that price will go 10-20 times higher and make some money. This is the initial target for almost everyone to get involved. After a while though, people begin researching and understand the fundamentals of Bitcoin. It takes some time to understand how massively disruptive this technology is.

too many people dont do real research and instead just become publicists for a popular influencer..

and thats is the biggest 'first world problem'.. no thought. just blind admiration/faith 'coz he popular'
its these youtube influencers and popularity contests that create more cults.

firstly PoS coins has no upfront cost of creation. PoS coins have no upfront intrinsic value. which is the same thing of if gold could be mined with a tea-spoon and coffee filter paper in everyones back yard for $0.50 a ounce. gold would only be selling at ~$1 a ounce not $1k an ounce

cost of mining is just one element of intrinsic value. and btc actually has some. (albeit some altcoins dont)

Yeah, but it's easier this way. People actually don't want to use their head and think with their own mind, it's easier when everything is served on a silver plate.
But I don't actually think that this single video will change anybidy's mind. Bitcoin users and investors are aware of risks and downsides of Bitcoin and I don't think that anyone is denying that. But to compare then with cult and sending some wake up calls is nonsense and looks like someone has just fallen from the three.

The fact that OP segregates people who watches and does not the youtube link is an indication that it might be all BS. I do not like that people are using degrading things to gather some clout. We've done so far and more than 10 years of existence of Bitcoin and we the believers had witnessed how Bitcoin and blockchain technology could change our world more than of what we imagined. The historical of Bitcoin has been gained trust in certain investors even they know the risk of it.
We're glad that we have reached this level, and I still believed that from time to time when more become familiar with Bitcoin and buy it and of course with proper knowledge and it should be educated very well.

I don't think so if 10 minutes is enough time to educate investors, this could lead to investing without proper knowledge, investors must/should spend time to understand how Bitcoin works, managing the risk and volatility will probably take time for them.
