While Hindi is a strong language across India, I believe that the majority of Internet users in India, are all good with English.
Am fine with the sub-section for regional languages, but English works best is what I have seen so far.
promote english as a language on this forum but also allow hindi on the 'whole' indian forum.
Hindi can be used anywhere people want to. It has never been stopped.
The regional languages subsection has been set in place mainly for product launches, guides, etc, which will bring value to local readers rather than participants of the forum.
Not sure of how many users will come onboard if there is a specific Hindi subsection on the forum. If we can see more activity under the regional sections, I would be glad to bring them out to the main lists as well.
Any statistics of the use of devangiri hindi across the internet will also help.
