As title said, I will prefer you to read this thread. Here you will read a person were regret about his/her past mistake and someone else had tried to get advantage of it by attempt for second scam. I will share with you a story for quick understand that how your common sense sometimes could save your life & money from scammers. Here is story quote.

A man caught a bird, and the bird said to him, “Release me, and I will give you three valuable pieces of advice. I will give you the first when you let me go, the second when I fly up to that branch, and the third when I fly up to the top of the tree.”

The man agreed, and let the bird go. The bird said, “Do not torment yourself with excessive regret for mistakes.

The bird then flew up to a branch and said, “Do not believe anything that goes against common sense, unless you have firsthand proof.”

And then the bird flew up to the top of the tree and said, “You fool. I have two huge jewels inside of me, and if you had killed me instead of letting me go, you would have had them.”

“Darn it!” the man said. “How can I have been so stupid? I am never going to get over this. Bird, can you at least give the third piece of advice as a consolation?”

The bird replied, “I have been hoaxing you. And now you are asking for more advice, yet you have already disregarded the first two pieces of advice I gave you. I told you not to torment yourself with excessive regret for mistakes, and I told you not to believe things that go again common sense unless there is some kind of firsthand proof. And yet, you just tormented yourself with excessive regret for letting me go, and you also believed that somehow there are two jewels inside of a tiny bird like me! So here is your third piece of advice: ‘If you are not using what you know, why are you so intent on seeking what you do not know?’”

What we learnt from the story is we shouldn't regret about or past mistakes and use our common sense. You will notice that bird has gotten freedom by using common sense. When someone offer you a huge return on investment (Ponzi) then you should use your common sense that how that's possible since there is no such as money making machine. When someone offer you to return your scammed money when you are regretting then you should use your common sense, first stop regret about your past mistakes, it will never return you what have left from your hands. Secondly use your common sense, since cryptocurrencies is irreversible so no one able to return your funds any way. Don't go against your common sense due to your emotions. You should use in your life what you know.

Hope you have learn from it especially those are newbies. Apologies for long post.

It is really pathetic to see people who got double scammed, and it happened mostly with withdrawal of crypto currencies.Like someone deposit money on scam casino or exchange, so they lost their money completely then again they keep talking with the support team who will ask you to deposit some amount to verify your account something like that to scam the person again. Just use common sense to avoid most of the greedy traps. Smiley

This is commonly happening even the people already scammed still they trusted those people and hoping to get back their money, even how many times we told to them that this is kind of a scam still they continue because they believe in their selves and disregard the opinion of other people if there is huge money involved.

Some of them regret their investment because this is just a scam and some of them do not because they know there is still a chance to earn back their money for another investment. We cannot blame them.

Some of the people now are having trust issues and some of them learned from their mistakes from the past and use those as a stepping stone to move forward towards success.

Feel really sorry for the original thread writer. . Just wonder, did he (oriinal thread writer) never do due diligence when hiring cloud mining services or did he never read an article reviews about the worse possibilities will occur when using cloud mining services, and/or read a review about cloud mining services that widely spread in this forum?. I never trust cloud mining services for sure.

And to @Coolcryptovator, thank you for bringing that another sad story to us.

To new member, never trust mining cloud services.

Instead, we can use our past mistakes to make it right the next time we will make some decisions. That's why we have this thing called "Move on" so that we will start another journey again by not repeating those mistakes we've made. sometimes mistakes can get us to somewhere we don't expect. The truth is, I only found this community after I lost my funds on some scam cloud mining site. I didn't use my common sense back then, because I thought what I was reading about cloud mining was true that it will give me some passive income which turned to scam later on. So I tried to find some more information and finally bring me to this site. after I landed here almost 3 years ago, everything was going right for me.

One of the worst things people do in crypto is trying to chase their losses, be it with gambling or trading or investing. People who get scammed by ICOs instead of taking it as a lesson often double down and look for a mythical "good project" to recover from losses. Same with bounty hunters - they get worthless tokens over and over again, yet still believe they can get paid. It all comes from regret over past mistakes. Some people really need to learn how to learn from their mistakes instead of making some excuses.

A very touchable on heart story. That was a poor man that didn't have common sense. Anyway, thank you for sharing this short story.

That's right, we shouldn't listen to the sweet promises with someone else, recruiting, or any type of HYIP investment with a high ROI. Promoters will give you sweet promises of incredible returns in your investment, but instead, you had been scammed because you're a victim of a Ponzi scheme. Use your common sense and mover on, don't let it that will happen again.

Learning mistakes is very important, be vigilant on every decision you have and the last one is common sense.

It's a nice story OP.

I read the thread, and I felt bad for him that he chooses to resort into dirty acts. He's so obsessed on getting his money assuming his narrate was a real one  Undecided.

Well, anyway, common sense is really a big thing here in this industry or must I say -- a necessary requirement one must always bring with. Regretting indeed won't do you any good once you already send your assets to a scammer, and that's a fact. Better yet get yourself up, collect your thoughts, get going and use your common as always and as much as how you care not spending your money in unnecessary stuff. One more thing being a newbie isn't an excuse for someone who's cautious on biting scammer's trap, and it doesn't exclude you for not knowing or for not utilizing your common sense effectively IMO. Besides reading about their thing; frauds, and how to avoid or spot one were always been there. Searching isn't something uncommon, after all  Tongue.

Great story btw. The bird's witty, poor man  Grin.

This is what most people do after losing money. They won't mind wasting more for a tinny chance of recovering their losses.
When someone loses money he becomes more vulnerable and forgets to use his common sense which makes him an easy target for scammers.
I agree that we should not regret our past mistakes, but we should never forget them too.

There is no need to regret and rethink your old mistakes, there is no possibility to go back in time and correct them but you have to analyze them and draw lessons so as not to repeat them in the future

regretting past mistakes and thinking about it always is useless...
life goes on and the best thing we have to do is learn from it. You can not go back to the past and fix it, forgetting past mistakes is very difficult but not impossible to do.

I agree!

#1.) It's a bad habit to break, but you must break it nonetheless.
#2.) Learn from the past in order to avoid repeating the same mistakes all over again.
#3.) You won't succeed if you don't do anything different from what you've already done beforehand.
#4.) Moving forward, just try to repeat the positives and not repeat the negatives instead.

Dwelling over past mistakes is such a burden. Move forward. forgive yourself, and others. Key to happiness.
