Can you not just backup your wallet file in other locations in order to save it.

Otherwise, there's label sync: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-use-the-electrum-label-sync-plugin/ (haven't read the full guide, don't install anything but it looks like the plug in is already in the electrum application).

You could start using bitcoin the way it is intended to be used.
A new address per transaction.

Do not reuse addresses. Give each person you are dealing with a new address.
This way you'll always know which address belongs to which person/transaction.

If that is not an option for you, jackg already suggested an electrum plugin for uploading them to an external server.

Use the menu: "Wallet->Labels->Export"; Transfer the file "electrum_labels.json" to your other machine.
Then, use the other option: "Wallet->Labels->Import".

instead of restoring from seed you should have just opened your old wallet file. it's located at https://electrum.readthedocs.io/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located
