If they ask for your personal info and accounts info, why would you log in with the same log in details and info for that unknown website? The newbies are the most prone people from these scammers. As you mention, they come in various forms.

In giveaways, they ask for emails and even with that little information, they can sell a database of emails to these scammers and they will be the ones attacking those people that will bite their bait. Be a responsible web user, don't sign up and download for everything that you don't need.

A very sensible thought, especially for beginners. It is better to be especially vigilant when dealing with unfamiliar platforms.

This is why until now i prevent in joining in anything that requires KYC not unless this is needed in my personal things or from someone i really know.
Because abuse in our details is very rampant nowadays.

actually most victim of this scammers are those greed people that being blinded of promising profit,or those newbies that has no experience on this kind of set up.
