Right to travel. If the parents don't refuse freedom of travel for their kids, the kids have the right. Flows of the 1st Amendment.

I only bring up the point because this measure (like mask-wearing) is intended to prevent the spread of the novel corona virus. They're seemingly oblivious to the distancing but they've really latched onto the mask like a pitbull. Apparently, even something as simple as hand washing is lost on them as well since Ohio rep Vitale places the the same gas detection meter on the mouths of 3 different
children students in quick succession handling it himself in between each without washing a hand, cleaning the device or batting an eye... not a good idea with respect to disease transmission. Never mind corona virus but a host of other
diseases! Poor
kids students.
So having dispatched every other preventative measure using the scientific method (I'm assuming here), they are poised to refute mask-wearing buy demonstrating that the mask is deadlier than covid-19.
It would be so much better had they just said "
Fuck you! I wont do what you tell me!" but not in front of the
kids students. I could respect that.
You are turning this into a breakup-of-America thing. Don't you realize how many kisses go between people all the time? And that is just here in America. What about the French and Italians who kiss each other on the cheek as a greeting?
What you are really saying is that all these trillions of kisses year after year have nullified all kinds of diseases. It's common herd immunity. Now the professionals are telling us to stop the herd immunity in favor of something that has never been tested except locally and temporarily... masks and distancing.
Don't you see? The guys at the top want us to lose our natural herd immunity, so that they can make us pay for
their herd immunity that goes on and on to destroy the immune system. And the jokers in government innocently (or not so innocently) listen to them.
I have no desire to turn this into a breakup-of-America thing as I have family there on both sides of the political spectrum. Vitale happens to be R but I'm sure there are D's against wearing a mask as well. I'm pretty sure the resistance to wearing a mask is much more deeply rooted in psychology than in
politics. People are afraid they are losing their freedoms.
You have to be really careful with that cheek-kissing thing. It's generally right cheek first but not in Italy; they go left first! Guess what happens when one person isn't from Italy...yep! Right on the lips. Then you've got problems.
Those Italians! Anything for a kiss. Most of the time, you don't actually
kiss the cheeks - you just make kissy noises while touching cheeks together. We do this in Romania as well. No saliva is exchanged but no
6 feet two meters between us either.
I don't believe a few months of mask wearing is going to have an impact on herd immunity. Caution is needed until we understand this virus a little better. While they are working on a vaccine, scientist are still not certain a vaccine will be effective for this particular virus. Studies are showing that
antibodies are not present shortly after recovery. Maybe next month we'll be having covid parties for herd immunity - based on the latest scientific findings of course.
I'm going to have to look into this purchased immunity. There are many people who would sell their mother to make a buck and we certainly have a good number of corrupt politicians everywhere.
