According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Just finishing up the last hour on grippy54's "Getagrip2" server.  The system was incredibly stable and ran just perfectly for the past 72 hours!

Next time I need to lease a rig, I'll keep grippy54 in mind. Grin

Is the stated speed taking into account Scrypt-N's halving of hash?

As in, i can put that hash stated, 1.75megahash into a calculator and determine my estimated vertcoins?
