Hello

I hoping someone could help me with a problem with Bitcoin 0.11.0 I mined some Bitcoin a few days ago and for some reason the QT console is not connecting to servers or seed nodes as this working was a few days ago when start up Bitcoin 0.11.0 it comes up no block source here my Bitcoin.conf file

rpcuser=bitcoinrpc
rpcpassword=Bug6Kaig25f8YKEf75jxQEUwGRJQgttCJn6BE9DauhU3
server=1
addnode=my ip address

could someone please tell whats the cause of the problem is and how to fix it.

The version is very very old. Try backing up your wallet.dat and installing a new version, preferably 0.20.0.

If you're not willing to upgrade, check your network settings in the GUI.

Open 'Settings->Options->Network tab'.
Uncheck the other 2 checkboxes aside from "allow incoming connections", the default should work.

Perhaps go ask your altcoin questions in an appropriate place, and if that altcoin doesn't have a community that can answer questions perhaps thats a sign that you shouldn't run it.  It's not a sign that you should pretend that the extremely outdated altcoin software is extremely outdated bitcoin software in order to vampire questions off the bitcoin community. Cheesy
