You should remember about investing in DEFI based on its use-case and the demand that has already gotten. Did you see compound or oikos? You should not invest in any defi but just invest in DEFI that has a very huge potential and big community.

There are still many things you have to read about the DeFi project, don't because you hear about the goodness of the DeFi Project and then you rashly draw conclusions to invest in it, you must be smart in conducting Research, because not all DeFi projects can benefit you.

DeFi projects have become a trend this year. Many new projects have implemented DeFi for the benefit of future projects and there have been many successful DeFi projects, so if you want to invest, you still have to do research or look at their background, let alone this is a new project, of course we must also be on guard against new project even though it's their product DeFI.

Lots of Defi projects these days. I even didn't realize that I have some of them like the Aave Lend Token which I got from HitBTC airdrop long time ago. I log in to my account last month and found out I got some funds left there.  Back in the days when they airdropped it, it was just ignored by many of us, and just as I thought there will be no value to it. I might just keep it for good. And since it's just $0.18, I'd rather be buying more of it every week.

DeFi projects are taking over this year, even the old DeFi projects from 2018 starts pumping hard, there most be a reason behind this, maybe investors find its Usefulness in them or they are just completely based on hype, just thread carefully, this might be another bubble warming up

Do not forget about the old wisdom: "Buy by rumor, sell on the news."
It was necessary to invest in Defi a year ago, now the news has come out and you need to sell it. If you want to invest, then you need to understand all the details of each project.

Learn about it first. Not everything you see is profitable, this how people become broke for being too much optimistic with the DeFi that they've just learned.

Before you invest, study, and do your research because not every DeFi will give you the profit that you're thinking. Some of DeFi's can cause you disappointment if you lack research.

You should have also mentioned the names of the defi projects you have invested in. Although the defi trend is surging and it is good if people can make some extra crypto for just holding crypto through these projects but at the same time i will suggest to not invest in every new defi project because scammers can take advantage of this situation and can come with fake projects so be careful atleast with new projects.

DeFi are all the rage this year. While it's good to get trendy and get aboard the DeFi bandwagon, don't forget to apply caution and do some due diligence before investing. Not doing research and due diligence is one thing most ico investors got wrong and they paid for it. Also be serious conscious, Balancer got hacked recently and over $500k of user funds were stolen as a result.  We might see more of this happening just like the days when ICOs were red hot.

You are right about what you heard about Defi projects but are you also aware that there is every possiblity that scammers will leverage on Defi hype to bring about their own scam projects; am not being certain that it will happen but rather considering what scammers has done so far in this space then nothing is difficult for them once the opportunity is there. So my suggestion is, it's good you want to invest in Defi projects which might be because of hype or because of what you have seen them offer, however take your time to research on the respective projects so that you can make the right choice and protect your funds.

DefiPulse is a great resource for this, it has a list of all the major DeFi applications based on their total assets under management.

It doesn't actually list the yield you might get from using each one, but it can definitely give you some insight on how popular each one is.

I'd personally stick with non-custodial DeFi solutions for now though; just google "Non-custodial DeFi" and you'll find a bunch of options like Compound, Nuo, Aave etc.

Compare them based on their viability and return, and make your judgment based on your risk appetite.

You are right about what you heard about Defi projects but are you also aware that there is every possiblity that scammers will leverage on Defi hype to bring about their own scam projects; am not being certain that it will happen but rather considering what scammers has done so far in this space then nothing is difficult for them once the opportunity is there. So my suggestion is, it's good you want to invest in Defi projects which might be because of hype or because of what you have seen them offer, however take your time to research on the respective projects so that you can make the right choice and protect your funds.

true, I will only take advantage of the moment now to DeFi and start investing my money, before I will research on the team and some other aspects as an example :

•The experience of the CEO if he has been successful in previous projects,

•The project idea itself,

•whether the product is already,

•the Use of Tokens They Sell,

•Market  The Altcoin Stamp (or ICO Stamp for the ICO Phase) along with the Price and Number of Tokens / Coins in circulation,

•Community and Developer Support

•Product Release Stage: Pilot / MVP / Alpha / Beta / Public Launch and
•Whitepaper

maybe there are more if my research is lacking
and some projects that I started to be interested in because of the length of the project the crowds of people and communities talked a lot about the project from the telegram channel source

Now almost any project wants to use Defi and this is becoming a new investment trend for everyone. I think this trend will last until the end of this year and this is an opportunity that you should not ignore because the projects using Defi have had great success. DeFi got so much hype already, that it's likely that sometime soon this bubble will pop, though knowing crypto markets, it's possible that this FOMO will last for longer, so it might be still profitable. I personally wouldn't touch this DeFi with a 6-feet pole, cause I'm happy with just owning BTC, but if you want to dive into DeFi, my advice is to not get too attached to it and make sure to dump it when you'll secure your profit. It can easily crash and leave you with worthless tokens, like it was with the ICO craze.

DeFi is being the latest trend. I do not think it will such big in future however, at the beginning of the any trends, there will be a lot of hype. For example, deflationary hype was BOMB token which hit $14, IEO hype etc. But after all, everything goes shit at the end of the day. I think you should be very careful investing in DeFi as it is totally a new trend and very hard to predict how community will welcome DeFi although people are speculating that DeFi will have a good future.
