Paxful - It is difficult to buy a gift card with a new account

As my title, I haven't used Paxful before, but recently, I have some kind of gift card I need to buy, and I think it might be there. I created a new account there, done full verification, but the problem was that it was too hard for me to start a transaction with somebody, nobody seemed to trust a new account. Offer with a gift card also appear to be limited. Although I have searched for deals all over the world, they still show very little and very low discounts. I went to groups on Facebook and asked there, they said that accounts with 50 or more feedback will get more deals and be easier to trade. So new people will have a hard time here  Do you have any suggestions for improving this?

How did you come to that conclusion? Are they closing the trade offer once you initiate it? If so, that does not necessarily mean that the sellers don't trust you. It could simply mean that they're out of stock. To confirm that, you can check their trust profile and see if they made any recent transactions.

From my experience, the cards with the highest discounts and liquidity are Amazon, Xbox, PSN, and Netflix so if you want to buy something else, you're probably better off with Coinsbee and Bitrefill.

Don't, just don't. If someone sells you the account, he can easily claim it back using the I.D he used to verify the account.

AFAIK, most traders on p2p sites uses certain minimum trading volume needed for any user for responding to high risky payment methods like gift card and this happens to eliminate scammers from responding to their ads but it doesn't necessarily means every new user is a scammer.

@OP you may have to create trading record for you if you really wanted to make these kind of trades with no issues but now you have no choice other than go with low discount offers which is far better than buying a hacked paxful account.

I would highly recommend not to use this shady website as they have many unresolved accusations here. I have seen many users complaining, as they have found many new ways to scam their customers and give shitty explanations.

I am not sure if they are represented here, but I am sure that there are some involve people here, a few weeks ago, I remember that they recruited staff to verify information for the Vietnamese community.

I don't know how it really works, but the truth is that my local community has so many people working there, I rarely see them complaining. Damned! It takes too much time and no one wants to trade with me  A transaction takes at least 30 minutes to expire, while transactions take up to 1h 30' to expire. But I did not receive anything from them. All I have is waiting. I have opened a lot of trades since yesterday, with a lot of people, none of them answered me  I even accepted the low discount  I got bored waiting for the time, there was a guy who answered, he said there was only code, no image of card, I didn't agree and he let me wait 90 minutes to expire the trade

Yes, you should. Again, to ensure that you're not making a trade offer with people who are out of stock, just look at their trust profile and see if there is any recent feedbacks.

I've contacted this guy before, he's not really a good choice, it's not a matter of prestige, it's about my needs and his ability is inappropriate. I need more than he can, it's not just about the discount, but also the quantity

You can create trading record by trading bitcoins for bank transfers which is more secured than high risk transfer like Gift cards and paypal but it will take time for sure until that you have to buy with less discounts or on other market place sections.

It's quite expensive to trade that way, I already have BTC here, I tried to buy some more BTC by bank transfer, but the BTC price when trading that way is quite high, it's expensive. I had 2 transactions like that, 2 positive responses, but it was not enough, I did not intend to waste money to do more.

Yes, you can't build your trade history in a day you may have to atleast 0.5BTC traded volume.

Bisq is completely decentralized unlike paxful and localbitcoins so they may have different criteria for amazon gift card purchases for new traders, myself never tried this but lot of reputed members has been suggesting Bisq as better alternative to paxful and LBC.

That's the problem when you see a gift card with a discount. And bigger the discount more suspect it is.

Not sure if he's really polite, or if he just wants to continue to cheat me  he marked the transaction as paid, even though he sent a bad card, he told me to wait and not open a dispute. He wants me to wait and he will send another, but feels insecure

I can feel how much you will get annoyed when someone cancels your trade without saying anything after a long wait.Lets try Localbitcoins ans localcryptos these are other p2p trading platforms, in Localcryptos there is no KYC verification needed but not sure is there people who is selling amazon gift cards.

I was so frustrated with P2P platforms, I thought that I should start looking for a guy to be a partner on this forum, fixed a supply would reduce greatly the waiting time  Of course most guys on this forum are scams and I have to be careful in every transaction  I leave Paxful right now
