I've  got a graphics card on one of my rigs that is giving me a temperature of 75° with 100% fan speed. I changed the thermal paste, but it does not help.

Any suggestions? I have a box fan directly behind all of my cards. The rest are running okay.

What is it clocked to ?

Clock it lower

drop power to it by 5%
drop core clock by 5%
drop ram clock by 5%

What's your temp now?

As philipma said, dropping clock and power tends to reduce temperature

It's important to know if other cards are blowing hot air to this card, maybe you have fan directly to this card but blowing hot air of another GPUs
Another importat thing is room temperature

And last tip, do not leave your fans on 100%, this will damage your fans quickly, it's recommended to set your fans at the maximum of 70%, the ideal is 50 to 60%

Yeah there is usually 1 or 2 hot cards out of 10.

Sometimes it is rig placement

Other times it is just that those cards have shitty chips.

I have found that

gpus sometimes will over clock really well

gpus sometimes will under clock really well

gpus rarely do great over clock and great under clock

If you are in the mood and want to tinker with the hot card.

You could try dropping the power setting 1% at a time

It could be that it is stupid good at running under powered.

That has value for a miner. not much value for a gamer.
