Bitcoin is a modern epoch-making currency system. Digitization of everything is happening in the current age of technology. This digitization will have a touch in our monetary system as well. According to technologists, in the near future, digital currency will be the only means of transaction. In the future it will be well known as a conventional currency system. So in order to keep pace with the technological revolution, it is good to know about this new groundbreaking innovation.
As a newcomer, i shared my ideas with everyone.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

The idea shared is not enough, but what you are implying are right, but out of all the digital currencies let us expect more from bitcoin, it will be the strongest of all time. Hello Lamp2 and Welcome to Bitcointalk forum. It's better to start your journey here by reading forum rules and use the Beginners & Help board to ask about what you can't understand. Not only Seniors here can provide help for you, as the forum is full of good users who are ready to guide you through the crypto field in general. Don't focus on the rank of those who will try to help you, as a lot of veteran members still lack a lot of knowledge and can even be considered as newbies. Before all, it depends on you that you can learn a lot or little, as the forum contains a lot of useful articles. As a newcomer, i shared my ideas with everyone.

Bitcoin creation is very important as we engage in the computer and digitalization era. Bitcoin hit in the market as stored value and as another form currency and yet to be very applicable in the future as we go into that stage. But just to say also that knowing about Bitcoin and use it is only an option to take not a need to do so. We can't eliminate local currency and so FIAT money is still to exist, it means that even we adopt into this new technology but it doesn't mean that we are putting FIAT to its ends. Because it for sure not all of us were adopting this technology and to the fact also that it is only applicable to the online transactions that giving the areas with no internet will stick in local currency.

Because bitcoin makes our transaction more faster than you'll ever know. It transact the value anywhere and you'll be the one who can control your own money.
It's great that bitcoin was concern about your security. Hence, Bitcoin also are providing the security you need in times of you transaction.

It's true that digitization of everything is taking place but it's also true that Governments want to keep their eye as well as control on your finances and so, they are coming up with new tricks as well as national digital currencies in order to keep up with what their citizens are demanding from them. That's also the case with BTC, they can easily give green signal to BTC but they're currently testing everything while also preparing their own digital currency for their people. I believe that the revolution will take place but in a different way and not how Satoshi wanted, as everything is going central now.

Hi Lamp2, welcome to the forum. It is true that transactions will be digital in the future and some countries have already adopted it like China. And thanks for sharing your ideas and I can say that it is what it is. As for bitcoin, this will be an alternative way and means of paying things online. Bitcoin as a currency is still being done while majority have treated it as an investment. |

You can read some basic information about bitcoin here and it really helps some newbies like you to understand some basics about Bitcoin and how it works. Thanks for sharing. I just know that Bitcoins is not the same thing as game currency sold by gold vendor like https://www.pvpbank.com/. Bitcoin can be used to buy goods anonymously. In addition, since Bitcoin is not bound by any country or regulated, international payments are simple and cheap. Small businesses may like them because there are no credit card fees. Some people just buy Bitcoin as an investment, hoping that their value will increase. No one knows what will become of bitcoin. It is mostly unregulated, but some countries like Japan, China and Australia have begun weighing regulations. Governments are concerned about taxation and their lack of control over the currency. |

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about bitcoin, explaining what is bitcoin cant finish with only a few lines of the post. There is much information we need to know first yo become familiar with bitcoin and cryptocurrency as well. We really need to know bitcoin because it could be a standard currency in the future, it has the big possibility that it can be our standard currency but I think it will happen for the next more decades. There are many adjustments that our government and citizens will do to make it a standard currency.
Bitcoin is well known as good for online transaction, well that is true, I am also using bitcoin for some of my transaction and I can say that it has a good and faster transaction compared to fiat transaction, cryptocurrency makes us also have a financial source because we have here what we call crypto activities, which are the trading and investing.

Why you should know Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole? Coz why not  ? I don't see any disadvantage effects of aiming to get a broader knowledge. Don't isolate your mind on the ideas you got used to, explore new things. Enjoyment is guaranteed hehehe. The feeling that you knew many things boosts your ego. This is one of my mair reasons aside from money talks lol. |

There will never be any adverse effect when you know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Those who consider this a disadvantage are those who do not understand the technology of this future. For me, it is not really necessary to everyone to find out about bitcoin. It does not matter a lot nowadays because we still have current payment systems. If these digital currencies becomes the only means of transaction, people will just adapt. It doesn't matter what time you did know about these digital currencies. Of course exemption to those technologist, investors, and other people who wanted to use and know more and/or make some money with the help of these new era of currencies. People will just adapt to the new system if time does come.
But it is a big opportunity to enlightened about these cryptocurrencies. |
