Hey guys ! be aware of post from Binance twitter because Binance twitter account has been hacked

This is indeed shocking to see that one of the biggest crypto company binance has failed to keep their accounts safe from hacking, usually some former or current employee could be involved so binance should take this seriously and investigate it so that it should not happen again.

This just shows people need to be very security concern when it comes to online security, if Binance could be hacked this way what about normal jack in the space, I do pity some of these so called crypto influencers flaunting their crypto profit on tweeter this just make them a hot target for hackers

Some time ago I had seen a CZ tweet about someone who wanted to take over his Twitter account, and now it happened. I think the binance team will solve this problem quickly because it's about their reputation and their account is used to deceive/scam the community. And the CZ reply is also deleted/blocked.
Edit: How can this happen at the same time, many accounts have been hacked.

Lol what are you talking about? thats is twitter fault because easily getting hacked ! its not that their exchange are hacked, but its only Twitter account.

These hackers have been targetting these big names for quite some time now. I believe that they already succeeded before it was made public or evident to all. They only just made those giveaway posts almost at the same time. Many would have fallen victim. I think twitter management should do something about it. At least, i believe that they also know the real owners of those accounts.

Lots of large Twitter accounts are hacked, is this the user's negligence or from the Twitter side that has a problem with their system, I hope this problem does not have a bad effect on the prices of all altcoins, and I am still waiting for an answer from Twitter about this problem

You misunderstood it, it was not the account was hack, it was the service platform - Twitter that was breach.

And not just crypto related accounts, there are accounts that have been pushed by cyber criminals including high profiles like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos and many more. And this is the fault of Twitter itself because obviously, there are security lapses here.

So most probably those malicious tweets, not only of Elon's but also from the other affected accounts, are deleted already. We can now relax, but I hope this will not happen ever again because not only their reputations are ruined. Of course, the most affected here are the stupid (people who can be deceived easily) investors .

Twitter should take this as a serious matter that they need to solve as soon as possible before the other account gets hacked. People need to be careful to access twitter, and they need to protect their accounts. If twitter failed to solve this, that would be doom for twitter because their user will leave them, and never use twitter again. If many twitter accounts get hacked at the same time and the same problem, that means twitter has a hole or bug in their server, and they need to fix it.

It doesn't have correlation with the security of their exchange sites. The account can be hijacked when you know how to steal the information that being used to sign in into the account. I think that you must remember twitter has a very weak security compared with other platform.

This is not just an attack which is exclusive to cryptocurrency-related accounts. Aside from the accounts of Binance, Gemini, Coinbase, etc the accounts of Joe Biden, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Barack Obama, Kim Kardashian, Wiz Khalifa, etc are also victims of the same attack. 

This is a proof that centralized social media should start shifting to decentralization.

This is not just an attack which is exclusive to cryptocurrency-related accounts. Aside from the accounts of Binance, Gemini, Coinbase, etc the accounts of Joe Biden, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Barack Obama, Kim Kardashian, Wiz Khalifa, etc are also victims of the same attack. 

Indeed, very many victims of this hack, even people who are not in the crypto space. But what makes me confused is, Twitter security or indeed a great hacker. So you can do that for large Twitter users like Binance or others. And another question is, besides asking for donations. What is the purpose of hackers doing this?
