I want to ask if Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator services are legit or true that they really accelerate such bitcoin transactions?

I saw some services online, especially if you google such keywords "Bitcoin transaction accelerator" and there are some sites where you can enter your TXN ID.
And also there are some services here in the forum who offer FREE Bitcoin transaction accelerator under the Services section.

I've tried the free accelerators provided by the miners once I can't tell if it's legit or not because most of the times my transaction confirms before they get to find a block.

Those accelerators in the services section seems sketchy even though they're free I think it's the same with the other free accelerators.

The paid accelerators from known mining pools are probably reliable but from what i've seen the fees are expensive like $50+.

  ViaBTC's free transaction accelerator is legit.  Your tx has to have an attached fee of at least 10 sats per byte and they only accept 100 submissions per hour so you have to submit as soon as possible when the hour changes.

I can vouch for this. But just a tip: especially when the mempool is quite congested, the ViaBTC transaction accelerator submissions will be congested as well. What I do back in Q4 2017, was that I time my submissions. I submit my tx IDs literally after 1 or 2 seconds after every hour for me to have a chance of getting my transaction accelerated.

only a mining pool can offer "free transaction accelerator" service which means those on this forum are most probably using the same pool service that you can use yourself (such as ViaBtc service). those who ask money for doing this are obviously scamming people since it costs them nothing and they would be using someone else's service.

there is also a lot of scam websites that have used the newcomer's desperation during 2017 to create a lot of fake services, some of which are still around, to just get paid for doing nothing. they don't even submit the received transaction anywhere.

RBF or CPFP should be your first option if you want to 'accelerate' your transactoin. It's safer, even if it's not cheap sometimes.

Even if you pay legit miners, there's still no guarantee they'll find the next block, which sounds like you pay for nothing.

If you pay for Mining pool, you will increase your chance that your transaction will be confirmed, which will be zero if the network is congested and you are using a poorly programmed wallet as blockchain.com.

I also saw this viabtc bitcoin transaction accelerator before and recently I just tried it and not working. It says that something like service is not available at the moment.
When I am trying to do some acceleration in my some bitcoin transaction, all of them are failed using viabtc, I think that service of transaction accelerator is not working anymore?

Have you paid attention to the minimum fee for your transaction to be accepted at all? Also, before you even get a chance to submit a transaction you have to resolve the captcha (it is one slide to validate captcha), and if you have some adblock/privacy badger it can block the captcha. All this, of course, can succeed if you are passionately fast, because the free service is used in just a few seconds every hour - it is free, but it is not easy.

On top of that, ViaBTC needs a mine block to confirm your transaction - and sometimes it can take hours for that.

There's a timing needed for viabtc and it's a real thing unlike those fake bitcoin accelerators that are raking money through ads of their website.

Most of those bitcoin accelerators that google will show as results can't be trusted, except those real and known service.

Viabtc is the best for me, free and the only requirement is to pay a little bit higher, not that much that it asks for your transaction to pay.

Because their task is to re-broadcast only the unconfirmed transaction and probably bitcoin accelerator services might directly broadcast to the most well-known mining pool nodes. So, as far I understand these Bitcoin transaction accelerators are not the mining pool themselves, they are not the ones who make the transaction confirm faster.

Yes, I can vouch for this ViaBTC's accelerator and also you can use it as an alternative this bitaccelerate . But remember, you're lucky enough if your unconfirmed transaction will get picked first by the mining pool. Anyway, you can check also in the unconfirmed transaction count (mempool) if how many transaction queue are there, or paid higher fee for the sure the faster one.

Viabtc is not an alternative to services like bitaccelerate.

The first one is a mining pool, it can add accelerated transactions to the block they're currently trying to solve. And since they solve quite a few blocks each day, they'll get your transaction confirmed pretty fast (in case you either pay for the acceleration, or if you're lucky and you're one of the first 100 requests each hour)

The latter is just some script that rebroadcasts your transaction. It is only usefull if your original transaction is valid, unconfirmed and was broadcasted several days ago... The only thing it does is make sure a transaction that might have been dropped from the mempool of most mining nodes is rebroadcasted to them. It has little value.

The only thing i wanted to add to the discussion: joniboini is right: CPFP or RBF are far easyer and/or cheaper than paying for an accelerator service. If you have to use one, use one that is trusted and is offered by a large mining pool. You would not believe how many newbies got scammed by people that promise to "mine" their transaction using a home pc... Really, things like this actually happed in 2017.

I have personally tried the service ViaBTC, and it helps me get a transaction confirmed faster. It was just when I was getting familiar with transaction fees and thinking that I can save a lot more Bitcoin by lowering the costs, and it ends up as a transaction that is rarely going to be confirmed, but the service helped me. I was using Electrum, and I manually lowered it.

Newbies should be searching bitcoin transaction accelerator anytime they experience this. It’s the way I discovered it lol.

viabtc is a legit one to my known but they will only accept your tx if you have paid minimum of 10 satoshi per byte, otherwise they will not accept the tx to accelerate. There are some so called accelerate services in our forum and most of the tumes they are fake. I recommend not to pay anyone whoever promise to accelerate a tx.

Because the service has a limit of 100 transactions per hour, and seeing how the service is popular you can guess everyone is constantly trying. Not even talking about people who automate it with bots/scripts to be sure to be the first.

I never managed to be in so stopped to try. 100 TXs/hour is like saying "Hey, I have 2 masks for the whole country"
And when they will be tired to be abused they will probably close the service. (reducing to 100/h was already a sign)

 I've used it a handful of times to submit transactions to help others (I've never asked for remuneration).  I haven't used any automation, I just submit when the hour changes and I've always been successful.  I think it's admirable that they offer this service for free.  It actually costs them to run it since they are losing out on including transactions with higher fees attached.

I dont even know why people would need them, but maybe I just dont use Bitcoin often enough to matter to me.On average I use Bitcoin once or few times a month.  What I do is if I can i make a transaction on Sunday or Monday. And totally avoid making them on Friday. Usually mempool is most empty during weekends and gets more and  more full toward end of the work week.  My strategy gets me lowest transaction fees.

I guess that the reason why posted this thread and asking if bitcoin accelerator will actually work.
It will work sometimes but not consistently, bitcoin accelerators did have control to make faster the transaction of bitcoin to be confirmed.

There's no problem if you will pay the higher amount, not just the recommended one or you will modify the fee into the smallest unit of bitcoin.

Be careful newbie on this accelerating bitcoin transaction, I have read so many times that there are cases of hacked issues due to free service of bitcoin accelerator.

Have you paid attention to the minimum fee for your transaction to be accepted at all? Also, before you even get a chance to submit a transaction you have to resolve the captcha (it is one slide to validate captcha), and if you have some adblock/privacy badger it can block the captcha. All this, of course, can succeed if you are passionately fast, because the free service is used in just a few seconds every hour - it is free, but it is not easy.

Oh yeah, it worked, I tried to pick some random transaction that is still unconfirmed with high fee (satoshi/bytes) and I tried to accelerate it there in viaBTC bitcoin transaction accelerator and it works.
I think it's really on my end, most of my transactions before are very low transaction fees.
