Crypto space is never a safe place for newbies, if you don't want to lose money you must first learn about about scammers that will do anything to scam anyone and you must also learn how to spot good projects, everything about crypto is learning
Yes, newbies will never be safe in crypto, but crypto scammers don't just target newbies, they basically target a lot of big people like investors and traders, because most newbies who just enter crypto don't bring big capital here , only a few are the opposite.

It's easy for Newbies to fall for doubling scheme since they don't have a clue yet about scammers, not until they are scammed once then they will try to seek for answers, newbies are always in rush to make fast money, I guess that's why they push learn aside first.

If they have as much of that money to fall for a doubling scam and know how to send crypto to an address, I don't think they're newbie anymore. They have to know it's a scam but still want to try their luck, all because of greed.
it's not about greed, but about their stupidity. I am surprised that there are so many stupid people who send at least 1 dollar to such scam schemes

Honestly people aren't learning anything, I am so disappointed in the way people think nowadays, believing they can actually double their bitcoin, as a newbie, the moment I saw the giveaway on binance official Twitter account I knew it was a hack
Those victims can be put into two categories.

1. Investors that never learn.
2. Actual newbies.

And for the actual newbies, we feel bad for them because they thought that it's for real. But from that experience, they'll learn.

Unfortunately, a lot of people come to the cryptocurrency sphere and they do not understand where to start and they begin to believe in everything and scammers find such people and these people lose their money because of their mistakes, and unfortunately this happens very often.

Crypto space is never a safe place for newbies, if you don't want to lose money you must first learn about about scammers that will do anything to scam anyone and you must also learn how to spot good projects, everything about crypto is learning

It's not about being a newbie in crypto space, it's about using common sense. How will someone in his sane mind believe in money doubling for doing nothing? Why on Earth will big shots like CZ ask for funds from followers to give back double in return, only overly greedy people will fall for such. The tweet got me laughing, it's more like a prank or an "april fool". I don't disagree that learning before delving into crypto investments and all that is vital, but this doesn't still give common sense.

If they send $ 1, that means they are greedy. But if they send $ 100 or more then they are really stupid people in this market. Ever since I entered this market I've seen a lot of people like that, they need to raise their awareness in this market.

most people belive that kind of scam is very new to crypto world and just trying to invest their money on crypto money, i have friends that really new to crypto and he fall into this kind of scam he is sending about 0.3 btc to the scammer address with hope that scammer will send 2x of the amount to his address, really sad to see scammer take advantage of newbie that just trying to invest on crypto.

it is greed that makes people always hit by traps like this. however, people will be interested in a system that makes them get a quick profit in a short time, especially if it has great confidence. to be honest, on the internet, there are so many things like that, even scammers also do massive advertising.
yeah,  im agree with your statment bro, some people are very greedy and want instant profit ended up getting scam with their all fund.

This is for all those who thought that newbies are learning about scam schemes here is a shocking revealing story for you... Hours back Twitter accounts of big crypto influencers and exchanges were hacked and I've read few posts on this forum that not many would fall for it but guess what? You are damn wrong, scammers cater away with over 100,000$ worth of Bitcoin.

Honestly people aren't learning anything, I am so disappointed in the way people think nowadays, believing they can actually double their bitcoin, as a newbie, the moment I saw the giveaway on binance official Twitter account I knew it was a hack
Some people need more time and have to pay more fee to learn about the scammers, now they can't blame anyone because their greed is the only cause for them to lose their money and some media reported millions of dollars were scammed not just hundreds because scammers used different bitcoin, ethereum and multi crypto addresses for this giveaway scam.

As long as a person allows greed to override logic or reasoning, they would continue to fall for cheap scams. It's a get rich quick that burns one's finger faster than the furnace. No money doubling scheme in cryptocurrency, neither is it in traditional world, it always end in scam.
Even if you invest in a highly prospective blockchain project or you are a pro trader, nothing is guaranteed until you cash out.

It's a big lesson to all those who fell from the old trick.

People falling for scam will always be a common thing no matter how even they get oriented about scams because most humans were born with imbedded greed and once they see any means to get earn profit, they do venture into it without proper research. Also we have certain sets of people that believes taking huge risk is the only way to earn more but that's not entirely true, only calculated risk should be considered! Scammers will always devise means to scam people, it once responsibility to be always ahead of the game!

It is strange that there are still some people who believe in doubling schemes, even though there has been a lot of education related to this.
Maybe greed has taken hold of them, so they don't think rationally anymore. Regarding the case of many famous people Twitter being hacked,
and many newbies are victims of scams. This is another proof that people are not careful in making decisions and there are still many hoping
to make money instantly. Just remember we live not in a fairytale world.

People still fall for these doubling scams and majority of the users are newbies who are attracted to the doubling as they have no idea about the market or how BTCitcoin works or generated, many of these doubling scams make the users think that they will be using those to invest in some other projects or getting these as mining rewards and it is a common mistake by the new users and when they try with low amounts they usually get the amounts back and then end up loosing when they send a bigger amount.

This money doubling scam is not new and even I once fell for a similar scam when I was new to crypto but luckily bitcoin was not that expensive that time like it is now so I just lost a small amount.

So if you are newbie you will always have to pay extra attention because scammers are lurking in every corner.

It's complete greed that consume people who fall for this scam, they managed to confuse themselves that the giveaways are real, they know how valuable bitcoin is but still they decide to take the risk, it's their money and I don't feel pity for them.

It's really insane to know that people actually fell for the Twitter Bitcoin giveaway scam. When will people stop being greedy? In this era, people still believe in money doubler schemes? These are some questions which keep surfacing in my mind when I saw whalebot alert tweeting transactions from that scam. We need to wise up, and use our common sense. All these keep denting the image of Bitcoin. Also, the Twitter hack might be an indirect attack to Jack Dorsey, the founder.

It's a call for Twitter and other organizations to upgrade their security. See how easy it was to hack popular Twitter accounts , then I ask if the firewall and other security modules were inplace. It's high time 2FA is taken seriously too, but when will people learn not to fall for common scams 🤔. Even till date, people still fall for crypto giveaway scams on Twitter and Telegram.
