Ive just observed it when I visitied the securities childboard. There is a warning message on top of every topics when you clicked it.

This is a good warning and I think its better if this will also implement on other childboards that have transaction and negotiation deals like Goods, Services, Lending, and Currency Exchange. Maybe it will be annoying but it will always remind some people before they even tried to invest, trade, or have some deal with other new projects/people.

I am not familiar too with this term  "caveat emptor" and when I checked it online it means:

Quote from: Oxford Dictionary
The principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made.

Nice words to add on warning message. Also it shorten the sentence as well.

Just a suggestion maybe there is a good reason why only it appears on Securities childboard alone and I appreciate to know details about it.

The point is that the projects that are HYIPs/MLMs or likely to be so are moved by the forum administration to these sections but they are not trashed because the justification of being a scam or not depends on the reader and not the mods.

You can be rest assured that you will not find "legal securities" in this section and/or worthy debts in the Long Term Offers sections - very likely you are going to lose money.

Putting them in every section misses the point that people need to be careful. Then it becomes something that you hear everyday and you tend to no longer see the depth of the idea. But opening these subsection to see a warning puts the reader on alert, if they see it in every section where legit users are doing business, they are likely to ignore it even in the "non legit business offers" . Hello there thanks. I thought only on that, at least I know therr are three childboards that have this kind of warning.

Putting them in every section misses the point that people need to be careful. Then it becomes something that you hear everyday and you tend to no longer see the depth of the idea.
Not really on every section but only to those which I think needed these kind of warning. Those that are mentioned in the OP. I understand the point but, like I said, even though its annoying or lets say users tend to ignore it at least there is always a reminder from the forum. Im not suggesting every section, cause it will be too much. Or yet, have some different approach of warning that is different from the three boards that are likely to be hyips/mlms.

I believe oldest members here know about Ponzi schemes and related some other scams. This warning probably would appropriate on every board to warn users (but limited). I believe this warning message would visible to guests and for newbies same like flag warning. So that newbies would learn from beginning about such as scams and guest would save their money. Even it would annoying for newbies, but they should learn. Its because scammers are able to make their post on any board, they aren't limited nor it's possible to monitor them.
