Feature request to link sub boards easily

Guess it would be handy, as of right now we have to find/seach and copy link manually.

Your own post. There is solution too but I think it is not a real time update page (maybe it is updated each 7 days).

• board = boardid you are interested in

If what you want is simply a direction to a specific board, there is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0

You have to remember that code, and boardid, and it is inconvenient, so why not simply click on the board's display name on the home page of the forum? It is simpler and more user-friendly. Honestly, I don't they you can and want to remember boardids.

A last but very simply method is: Bookmark your interested boards. Why not do that?  
Check more if you are interested in more hidden things you have not known of: Hidden pages/ features on the forum

It could help, even say typing for board_name board "services board" should have eventually had an anchor link to the board but I guess it's not that priority.

That could be better feature. Ideally hope it can be apply whenever there will be chages to be made in the future and this could be added. Simply sharing thoughts and ideas could be intensified due to link connection that might be easy to add compared to manually to be added.

However, it will be another job for the one who managed for this forum. It seems that the forum has the need more labors and money to spend for a better forum adding visual effects and animations just like social media platform to promote the forum. Of course it is not likely now to plan for it because there are things needed to get rid or to be minimzed before promoting a better forum. The scammers are really problem and toxic in this forum.

Probably it will be so hard to plan eradicating scammers or minimized scamming activities without compromising the cryptocurrency features.

Interesting idea, but for section with long names such as "Important Announcements" &  "Development & Technical Discussion", it's faster to copy both names and links.

But i doubt there are many members who need use such feature.

So in other words, you want to introduce hash tags to the bitcointalk also.  I think we already have a lot of hash tags in twitter and now also in YouTube. I will not recommended to use hash tags for the boards.
For example you can bookmark this page if you want to directly open latest posts from the Meta section. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;board=24)
This can be done for all the boards and it is much more easy as compare to the tags.

It's an easier way, however, what OP said would be great as well. I guess smf doesn't have such built in options and theymos have to customize the code manually and theymos will say "It's not a priority ATM."

Some of you seem to miss the point. I know it can be done already I just mean it could be more convenient.

If you ever used discord you would know what I'm talking about. Every sub channels are just on the sidebar yet if you ever wanted to link t to someone, you just need to write few words after the hash and done.

The forum is not a social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, ie. It is not a chat messenger platform like Facebook messenger, Telegram, Discord, Whatsapp, ie.

If you would like to see this feature, please convince the admin and community, starting with another forum which has the feature you are asking for. I could be wrong because I don't use any other forums (I used in the past but stopped on them for a while ago).

To make your feature request easier to be accepted, you should request something as:

• Having a button to ignore all boards at Profile Ignore Board Preferences

Do you catch my idea to ask for this option? With it, you can do 2 steps and get what you want for:

• Go to that board, click on the Ignore all boards button.
• Use the Ctrl + F, type the board you want to visit (Services, ie), enter (it will then be highlighted) and you can unignore it. Get what you want after that click
