【Consultation】whitepaper or articles translation after ICO/IEO etc

This is a consultation.

I often take over English-Japanese translation jobs via the bounty thread.

However,
because there is a lot of competition and bad or opaque bounty within BTC talk,
then,I'm looking for new ways to do things.

Specifically,
I'm thinking of making a proposal directly to the managers of dApps and listed Altcoins.

But, i think, the reason why token owners want to held large bounty event is,
they want to raise money from many places as much as possible right before ICO/IEO launch.

then, the case those owner who want to reach out to japanese without taking place those events,
i'm not sure how much they will pay money for translation.

how do you think?

This is not new, people have been doing this for very long time and even you can see dedicated threads for translation services on service section by reputed members so I guess they have been doing translation for worthy projects directly on many occasions but for a newbie it will be difficult so you need to build your portfolio on translation bounties first before proposal to bounty team directly.

Don't you have your own pricing for the translation? I think you should value your own work and craft. You must have the idea of how much you'll be charging for every translation that you do because you know your works better than anyone. If you have no past translations made, you can offer your service for a cheaper as your starting point but you should excel from time to time as you gain experience and portfolio. I guess you have a lot of experience already.

try to explain or tell your intentions about translation and just hope that they will consider out your proposal and might able to choose you out ahead out of their marketing move

but in most cases projects would really launch up by big batches or all in all in one go so chances arent really that high if you do just decide to go ahead on your own but if you are

really eager for that possibility or chance then you can try it anytime.

Sure, I've participated in translation Bounty many times, and I haven't received a bad rating (no negative on my Trust points).
However, as I have often participated in Bounty projects passively, it takes courage for me to negotiate a price for my proposal. Thanks for the specific advice. I will try in the future.

I have participated in about 20 of them so far and have already made my portfolio.

To be honest, I've been contacted directly through telegrams and emails, and I've taken on some translation and article works so far.
However, the number of crypt projects with the ability to pay is limited i think, and I feel the need to think how to undertake works well.

Then how it ends? Market turns to a crap and almost everyday theres an ICO that do launched and having that huge bounty allocation for different types of marketing for their exposure.
If you do just plan to build up your portfolio then you surely can but if you do expect for some money-making goal then this wont be the best way to do it.

Are you just accepting their shit tokens for translation you do make? most of the time, translators do received these no value tokens in the end of the line
and making out of it will depend or vary if the project becomes successful.

It would be more worth if you do consider on building up your portfolio on typical freelancing sites.It is more worth for the time and effort and heres  some example of translators with corresponding rate https://www.upwork.com/search/profiles/?q=japanese%20translation and if you do like to save crypto then you can simply buy them with fiat.
