There will be a lot of defi coming up this year, as far as can see from the reliable rating site if mostly projects focused to developer defi or try to create an improvement defi that used the same idea that has already used before. It's the same like ico bubble.

Very similar to ICO, but Defi projects seem to be a lot better because often only potential projects are of interest to people because their development team is very well known in the crypto market. There are a lot of good Defi projects right now, but before that I will spend a lot of time analyzing because there will still be risks when you invest in them. It is possible that the Defi investment trend will last until the end of this year, so this period is a time for you to look for opportunities.

Many only focus on Chainlink for investment in the DeFI project while there are many other coins with a category that is certainly different too, under Chainlink there is still a Maker (MKR) which is also a good idea for an investment. The older Defi projects are growing more than the new ones. If you noticed how Jarvis Token had gone up, it usually was just 0.02 for a long period of time but now it's 0.14$.  And then there is Bancor that had been existing for years. I didn't even expect this platform is engaging like how Defi works. But I'm betting more for Aave since its the only platform I have for now learned.

For now I think most DEFI have reached their limits so if i were you maybe i will find new projects on defi and invest As for the old one I think you will be safe with COMPOUND token It seems to have good backing and some guarantee but do your research first

Yes, You are absolutely right. Before making a decision on which coin to invest or all of those coins are referred by all you must check their real-time data and research on it. in cryptos we dont know thier true life span  . btc is a trusted coin but being trusted is not related to its longetivity and if you say that tokens have no purpose then what  do you think of those altcoin and cryptos that are now dead ?

tokens doesnt differ to an altcoin  . example an exchange develop a token for them to use on thier exchange  . that shows its worth but it cant be worth  it if you will buy more of it and make it as an investment simillar to coins that are created for investing purpose

the research you are doing is correct, many traders also recommend Augur, Coti and Kava as Hidden Gem Defi,
I have also bought Coti when prices are cheap and until now only 50% have been sold.

I think aave as a defi project has out performed others because its price was way below the initial price but after succesful launch and rebranding its price skyrocketted and potential for more growth is there.

I would rather avoid all Ethereum DeFis now, not because they are not stable or not working, but because Ethereum´s fees are terrible, you pay more than 5USD in average for a transaction. This reminds me of the price of Bitcoin transactions in 2017, when the system was overwhelmed and after a time Bitcoin crashed to 6000USD.
