I know there's a lot of sports bettors here that are hoping they will hit a big time win in a short time, since we all want to have a life changing win but these people below are just so lucky. 

It's 25 people in the list, but I will go with the top 10 for the sake of discussion only.

I just now read the whole article and I was amazed to read that there are others in this list who actually wagered small amount and won. I will call them lucky ones as rarely it happens that someone wins a huge amount by just wagering a few pence.

I like hearing about the ones where someone at the start of a government's term in power places a bet for or against them winning the next election.  Other similar ones are who will be the next Prime Minister, President, Governor etc.  Even baby names for Royals can pay out big (who'd've though "Archie" would be the name Harry & Meghan would choose for their child's name).

That is really lucky when that person only bet small amount and won big time or decent amount. Many people do want to win big time and if you don't have enough capital then winning big time might be possible if you are one of the lucky ones to win huge amount of money in betting.

I have been trying to hit a high parlay payout with only $1 bet or even less, but it's like betting in a lottery and I think it's hard to win that way.
However, if I would choose, I'd rather bet on sports than put my money in a lottery, at least when you watch the sports, you also feel the excitement, and here's the bonus here, you can exercise your mind when you are analyzing your parlay bet.

I had some parlay bets that almost won, sometimes I rather not watch the game as almost winning sometimes affect me emotionally, and it distract my analysis in selecting my individual bet (non-parlay) where I usually put a decent amount.

I'm okay with the number 10, "a  £0.30 bet won a £500,000 ".. that's too lucky and if I lose, I would not even think or it will not move me unlike with my regular bet which sometimes cause me some sleepless nights. I call this one as a way of investing or saving your money,   £0.30 is an amount that anyone that has a job can afford to lose on a daily basis, and who knows our time will come, we will be in the list soon.

Lol some very nice wins in this list even with a very small amount. What I sometimes try to do is create a 10-12 fold with semi risky bets but where I believe in.
Never ever even come close. My best result was 5/10 but it is still fun to do.

Depends, but it's really hard to bet on parlay and really win big. Unless you are really good or at least very well versed on the sports that you are going to bet to. Even I try to do a 5 bet parlay, it's really heartbreaking if you missed the last one.

8/9/10, that's a huge windfall, and it's a crazy odds to win that huge money with that small capital.

That is really lucky when that person only bet small amount and won big time or decent amount. Many people do want to win big time and if you don't have enough capital then winning big time might be possible if you are one of the lucky ones to win huge amount of money in betting.

Just like Lotto in my country. We bet only good for 20 Pesos or 0.5 dollar something but we can win up to 900M pesos or 4M dollars. However, it is hard to hit the jackpot prize since a couple of digits we need to guess just to win.

If there are loss, there are also lucky players who win in casino. I just thinking that they don`t worry about their security. Anyway, they are too whales and millionaires so they actually pay for guards. I dunno the feeling of betting a huge amount but I think it is amazing and exciting to bag those tokens or chips because of your wagers.

These wins are like historic wins so it is not possible for everyone to make it but there are some threads available in bitcointalk as well like challenge of reaching million dollars with 100 dollars as capital like that which is definitely possible if someone knows better about the games and also they need luck to be on their side as well.

Those are extraordinary numbers and lucky to win something like this big. It may just happen to 1 in thousands or millions as well who get it right on their research or luck and win it as well. It's so nice to see some stories of bettors who were able to win a huge jackpot prize even when they only bet a low amount of money. Those people on the list were lucky to experience winning such a huge amount of jackpot but not everyone has the same luck to experience it and this kind of luck mostly only happens once.

Just like you, I have not experienced winning a big amount of jackpot since I only stick with a small amount of money when betting since I don't wanna end up losing a lot. I also don't wanna chase after jackpot prizes since I believe that I will win it even without chasing them if it's really for me.

If you see that there are some who win big prizes with a small number of bet it proves that it is possible to win by bet any amount, but there must be an element of luck too, I never win a jackpot and amount I bet is small and don't think will hit the jackpot.

The winning bet that in bold are the main point here that OP want to emphasize. The guy who won that huge bet are probably using a multiple parlay with an incredible odds. I believe he parlay more than 20 bet ticket or more. It is possible to win huge amount using small bet just keep on trying because it is the key on hitting the right spot for this jackpot. If you are very lucky, you might hit on few times but if not, You can rely on consistency of your betting.

 I'm really inspired on this amazing winning list and I never thought that this was really possible.

It is always nice to see people winning large amounts on gambling, but the dark truth is this... you do not see the millions they bet, before they got that winning bet. You might think that $3.5 million or £1.5 million is all profit and you seldom even think about it... but that gambler might have gambled for say 10 years and the amount that he or she gambled, before he won that amount could have been even more than that win. 

Most of these people will also not stop gambling after that win, because they have lots of money now, so they will just make bigger bets and before they know it... it will all be gone again.

The first one is even more crazy, dropping $3.5m on an underdog. I don't mind taking the underdogs once in a while but i'll never go all in like that.

I'll never win big as those guys but the best winning run i've had was by placing live bets and at the same time strictly following a fixed bet size. I've had a few nice parlay wins mostly 2-3 legs but I don't recommend making parlays to anyone new to sports betting since it's very hard to pull off.

As in the above quote, everyone who has got listed were full of luck. Achieving such a big wins won't happen that easy, and the information provided is great. Same as that I prefer to know the list of people who have lost big out of gambling. This might add hope to the gamblers expecting big wins, but the skills or talents doesn't have role. This means the luckiest will get the best.
