You need extreme luck if you want to win big money from small bet, but if you are building your bankroll and bet on games where chances are good then you just need to be consistent in order to win most of the time. Apparently, gamblers loses more than they win but there are also gamblers who are exceptional than they can win in the long run, so that should be the target, it's not impossible so it can be achieve.

Losing $1 a thousand times in a hope to win $1k vs losing $1000 in a bet hope to win $2k is the same thing. The fact that you bet once a large amount of money doesn't improve your odds. There's no game where chances are better, except sports gambling where there is skill involved obviously.

well I think it's enough to experience losses like that it's better you try to do other games because in my opinion when you experience losses up to $1000 it's already very much and when you use that much capital for trading then you can get a lot of profit, gambling should can learn the gap first and as much as possible should be able to get a profit.

I do bet but not often. I am not the kind of person that place a big bet on anything. I am afraid of losing but seeing people on the list with corresponding amount of winning is quite surprising for me. I can't believe that it is possible to earn that kind of amount through betting only. Maybe they win often than lose.

It is possible but very rare that it will happen. So if you are not lucky enough, you will not get that kind of winnings. But in sports betting, the chance is relatively high as compared to gambling games which are based on luck. Because if you are a fan of a particular sport and it is like you live and breathe with that sport, I believe you have good odds of winning.

I have experienced being lucky in gambling when i was young,winning a Bingo Jackpot at the age of 17(actually it was illegal here  to  gamble at that age  but since i have  a friend in that outlet he allows me to  buy cards)

from 4 dollars for 6 cards i have won more than 2,000 dollars and at that age?that is already a huge amount.

A friend of mine usually won games with low amount while I always asked, "how". He replied by saying, it's a thing of luck. Yes, we know what we should do, but most gamblers, especially a new gambler, don't know what they need to do. And they still play gambling without learning anything, so that can not help them survive in gambling, but they only lose their money in any second. You have a point there, perhaps these people who won huge amount through their small bet already have a history of gambling too many times. What I can see who's true lucky, are those who aren't really much into gambling, then betted a small amount then won.

But this winnings will be truly celebrated when they know that they need to have a break after winning, meaning, if you win these huge amounts, IMO, you should celebrate and stop gambling for a while to really experience the fun in gambling.

Well, there are price to be won in bettings, but I wish lots of the betting sites/centers have fool-proof systems to prevent abuses by either the bettors or owners. We really need to be sure that those hugh amounts are won very fairly.  And I wish the very large wins for small bettors are split into more prizes for  really more  small bettors to win.

I call this one as a way of investing or saving your money,   £0.30 is an amount that anyone that has a job can afford to lose on a daily basis, and who knows our time will come, we will be in the list soon.

I.also don't bet big amounts, that is not for me. No matter how good odds might look I don't take big risks.
It's possible to make big money with betting, there are also some examples that I know but for that you need to play big and also lose big. It's not possible to win all the time and at the end the question is how ratio between won and lost actually looks like.
