Just to set things straight, crypto is already booming even prior the the COVID-19 pandemic, it's just magnify during the pandemic because we need to transact contactless, but there are also other means like credit/debit card. But then again, if they large companies you are saying didn't understand crypto's volatility, specially non related to crypto itself, then they might find themselves in a difficult situation. So there are risk factors that these big companies needs to consider first, before jumping on the bandwagon. They don't just easily invest because of the pandemic. But we can go and have a bright future without them.

consider the market situation during the pandemic to this day. the crypto market is also experiencing a huge impact. maybe not very visible because from the beginning the crypto market has collapsed, but when viewed in more detail covid19 makes the bearish trend longer than it should be.

Crypto is a weak market, that's at least what the stocks investors see prior to the pandemic, but when pandemic happens, they got tested and they fail, while crypto is still stable until now, but I don't want to conclude that they'll transfer their investment here to hedge what worst could possibly happen in the future. Honestly, I am still in the stage where I am observing now, if crypto market will end with a good note this year, then probably the market is going to be bullish.

I don't think that you can simply compare crypto to traditional investments and say it's doing better over such an abstract time frame...
It's not that easy. You have to define the time frame and be more specific on the terms you define better with...

Even in terms of the recent economic crisis. Stock markets haven't plunged, believe it or not. The federal government promised to increase its budget to save companies and essentially the stock market survived so far without a crash. Lots of volatility and some losers, but many gainers too. BTC has meanwhile been stuck around 10k USD and altcoins haven't had that good of a year. So no, I wouldn't say that crypto as an investment has proved itself to be better. It's not that of a great comparison in the first place but the point in the OP is contrary to reality too.

I agree that we did got affected but the thing here is that Bitcoin is still staying strong and in fact, it rose from the recent dump of $4,000 (when pandemic kicks in the strongest and a scam) to above $9,000 which is great considering that Bitcoin is staying that price for weeks now. Once this pandemic ends and business starts blooming again, we might see Bitcoin bloom too as new possible investors might invest in Bitcoin.

True! The pandemic creates an opportunity for the cryptocurrency world. Well, it's better bullish lol! The market has been in bad condition long enough for investors to feel bored. Most traders and investors are just holding their capital without doing anything. In the past few weeks, the market started recovering which is a very good sign for us. It's actually a lot better since you have complete control over what you have, whether you are buying from exchanges and depositing it to your wallet or just holding your balances in reputable exchanges, I think it's one of the best investment and asset to own. Ideally, it's best to transition to a more "modern" application of these traditional businesses and these essential businesses would probably find a way to do it too.

For sure there would be better days soon, and we know that crypto is not the solution to this pandemic but it's a solution for businesses to accept cashless payments and support, etc.

It might be true because using cryptocurrency could help the country's economy to recover in the middle of the pandemic. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will stay strong or will have better value this year because governments in other countries are suggesting using virtual currency to use as a payment to prevent catching the virus, so bitcoin has a chance to increase its mass adoption this year or next year.

While I have to agree that crypto specially bitcoin has shown good sign in the pandemic and have recovered fast, it does not ensure that it will have better time in the normal world. Gold price had also increased for a short time because in pandemic people used to invest on such commodity. But that does not guarantee that in normal economy gold price will increase. In normal economy such commodity will be stay stable or go downward as people will be needing more investment, more cash. However, crypto economy is yet to be cleared.

Actually this pandemic helps me to become better trader, I do not know if I can achieve this kind of level if the pandemic did not come. I have more time on analyzing charts of many cryptocurrencies. Before I only usually check chart 2-3 times a day because I have daily work but now I can do it all the time and it helps me to become familiar to the concept, ideas and the patters in the chart.

It will not give any impact to the crypto market. even when the pandemic was still happening and the market can still survive, that means the sentiment that will be created by newnormal will not be affecting the crypto market and crypto has nothing to do with the new normal as people will still do their work from home.
