Christian Orthodoxy is regarding the view on the devil and satanism, more similar to Islam than to roman Catholicism and Protestantism, which are similar regarding their view on the Devil.

the most important part for me to understand for long was:

heaven and hell satan are equal parts of a single world, with satan as atorney of god

that is being believed in catholic and protestant church

hell and satan is being the enemy of heaven is only being believed in orthodox church and islam. with satan as fallen angel and enemy of heaven.

its also the reason why russia went to war with turkey, while france and britain often allied with turkey they didnt saw turkey as a direct religious enemy, like russia does. as long as the pope (france catholic) or holy roman empererer (britain protestants) didnt declare war on muslims,

cathilc france and protestant britain are fine with allying with them,

while orthodox christians (russia) are not happy with that.

what i do understand is that christianity is an old religion and islam is newer than the new testament being taught in the bible.  none of them discusses aliens in these world while the documents of hindu and their gods are more like out of this world. if you ask indians about aliens, you'd be surprise that they are not surprise at all about the existence of aliens because of the documents they have from antiquity.

There are two major areas of all religions:
1. How to live a better life here in this life;
2. A way to move to a successful next-life.

Christianity has its directives for #1, just like Islam, as do all other religions.

But Christianity is the ONLY religion that says that nobody can accomplish #2. But that #2 was accomplished by God, Himself, coming to us in the form of a Man (Jesus), and taking the punishment for the mistakes and evils of the whole world (He could do it because He was God as well as man) so that anybody who believes in Him can have the successful, beneficial, next life.

All religions other than Christianity require people to do some things to boost themselves into the next life... to be good enough for success in the next life.

So we see that salvation is:
1. A gift of God to all people - Christianity;
2. A works project for everybody else... and one wherein they can never be good enough.

Btw, there are some Christian denominations that require works... that don't trust in the gift of God. And, in that same tone, ANYBODY who accepts the Gift of God through Jesus, no matter his formal religion, can be saved.

I truly agree with you here. Once you grew up, you will understand that these religions have their own beliefs and only respect is needed to live in harmony with them. Even if you have your own beliefs according to your religion, you should not shove it to someone else's face if he has different faith. I already stopped comparing religions long long time ago.
