Genesis Global Limited – one of the big gambling operators, with a dozen operational casinos, had their operating license in the UK suspended. - Source

Lately I've seen many complaints about this casino all over the internet from players that can't withdrawal their winnings. It's a shame such a big brand to participate in such shenanigans.

Upon reading, the author of the article has concluded that there's still a chance for them to lift that suspension. It's a temporary suspension so as long as they will keep themselves communicated with the said agency.

They shall be good again soon.

They would really make some negotiations to arrange things up unless if theres an absolute decision about revoking their license then theres nothing they can do but as mentioned its just temporal.

When they do able to set things up then they would go back into their normal operation. They should at least do learn up the lesson and solve out previous issues so that they would able to clear out
their name.

When issues remain unresolved it will surely affect some business reputation and credibility.

There has to be a chance to lift the suspension for any kind of business. Otherwise, the money they have invested in setting up various physical casinos and resorts, will go down to drain. Also the people associated with this casino will be jobless in no time. So there is a way out. They will have to prove themselves and pay  out the winnings.

The job of a watchdog is never to take out of a company from business but to ensure the interest of involved parties are protected. Genesis will be out of this mess in no time!

I can't access the source you have given OP. But I just tried searching for this news and it seems that they can still get their license back. It's just that they are big operators with 12 gambling sites, and it will affect their image negatively even after getting their license back especially that the government advised the public not to get involved or play with the sites listed as illegal.

I have tried reading different articles regarding this news but I can't seem to find any statement from Genesis Global. It would be better to give an official statement for the public or their customers. But I think they can clear things out after reviewing it or something.
