doge has very high demand along gambler that using dogecoin for gambling purpose, no matter how much dogecoin will generate everyday, there is always buyer because this coin are available on every most top crypto gambling website, also dogecoin is very popular with thier cheap and fast transaction compare to bitcoin or ethereum when the gas is high, most of small traders is very love to use doge to move their fund within exchange instead using bitcoin that having high fee for withdrawls.

It is more profitable to mine dogecoin, but if only you have asic miner. If you only have gpu miners, then you shouldn't mine this coin because scrypt algo is for asic miners.

Just now calculated the difficulty of mining DOGE and its not easy as I thought and for the individual low hashrates miner its still goes into loss due to the increased difficulty.But block reward is 10K for whole and the time is 63 seconds exactly.

Dogecoin is widely used in gambling sectors for its faster transaction and low fee so it has some use case other than lot of expensive alts we have.

I think because they found a hype on this coin. Its not hard to switch which coin to mine when you have already an equipment and tools for mining. I think due to recent hype some miners found mining dogecoin interesting. But of course its a risky gamble if they will have a huge expenditure on consumption.

I think that this is only a temporary phenomenon based on recent price growth. In the near future, the mining algorithm would be automatically changed because more miners will see the same opportunity and come, that will cause an increase in a hashing power but also Dogecoins will be mined more quickly and to prevent this, mining difficulty will increase and the profitability back to the normal value.

or maybe it has possibility to be on top 10 coinmarketcap since many investors and trader recognized dogecoin as profitable coin. today many people add this coin in their main portofolio , and even give big portion on it. while market capitalization reach the all time high, maybe doge will be very expensive and we never think about it.

I love in this new development in Dogecoin nowadays, but I think this is just temporary because if we examine a little deeper this price increase has no solid foundation but its only result of an aggressive marketing campaign that brings good but temporary results on Dogecoin price today. If we planning to invest and buy Dogecoin to hold just be sure that you are aware in all possibility to happen without any warning but on the miner's side I think it's not risky to pursue Dogecoin mining today it's better to exploit this advantage until the Dogecoin price is in green.territory.

After reading this thread, I also decided to rebuild my hardware for dogecoin mining, but it turned out that this is not available for my idle gpu hardware. To mine dogecoin, you will need an asic miner. If you have an asic, you can try mining dogecoin.

Become profitable because it is converted to USD price, and it will always be more profitable when Dogecoin is pumped, to reach 1$ in my opinion is difficult even ATH has never touched 0.1 USD.
