Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Thats sucks do you think it comes from people who actually fallen for the trick? Or its just part of their scheme, putting btc to the address to attract users to send btc for the giveaway.

Some scammers doing this, putting their funds on the scam btc wallet just to let others think it looks legit. Damn they really wont stop, Ive seen a lot of fake giveaway lately on Youtube.

You can report those scammers address here:

We just had twitter hacks that really exposes this kind of scams. But it doesn't mean that criminals are going to stop, but the problem is that people still fall for this trap for whatever reasons. And those who send btc's to this scammers will have to learn it the hard way that there's no such thing as free money not just in this market, but in everything.

Probably this is one strategy of the scammers so that it will look legit when someone is thinking of sending to them. They will look at blockchain and says "Oh looks legit there are already money being sent". But then it is all false alarm. And they will only realise that they have fallen to it and it's too late.

You can report those scammers address here:

https://scam-alert.io

Or report it to Youtube themselves, I'm familiar with that site but many noobs don't check if the address is already reported to scam-alert. Or simply the criminals can create another bitcoin address, not recorded on that website.

Look at this article released yesterday lol:

Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Sues YouTube Over Bitcoin Giveaway Scams

https://www.coindesk.com/apple-co-founder-steve-wozniak-sues-youtube-over-bitcoin-giveaway-scams

Maybe.
If this is the case then the scam has been prepared since a long time ago because the 300 BTC transactions date from 2019.

According to the https://scam-alert.io , at least $ 1150 was sent to fake giveaways in the last 6 hours. So yes, people are still being led by this despite the constant reports of hacking of certain media personalities.
It seems to me that messages from Elon Musk concerning giveaways should already be perceived critically.  Huh

Videos have already been deleted.

Actually the only way scammer can have some victims is to make the crime looks legit by doing a free deposits. This is even happening on lots selfdrop ICOs where users will checked the smart contract if people are sending eth but they dont know its also the same team doing it and just rolling over thr funds.

Or report it to Youtube themselves, I'm familiar with that site but many noobs don't check if the address is already reported to scam-alert.
Thats probably why Apple sued Youtube, cause there is a chance they are collaborating with these scammers, but they should handle the legality of their users to avoid their platform used for this kind of scams.
