Meridian Network was launched a little over 30 days ago. We aim to become an ecosystem of DeFi protocols 100% governed through a community-driven DAO, allowing our users to choose the set of rules that is most favorable to them. The way we will do this is by releasing DeFi dapps that have a DAO governance mechanism embedded into their code, and users will be able to use these dapps/protocols and decide on their variable features/attributes through voting. The LOCK token will serve as the measure of voting for these dapps.

As most of you know, we recently had a token swap from our old token MRDN into our new token LOCK. Our first dapp is currently live, it's a staking dapp called the Meridian Vault which will be up and running for a max of 2 months. This is meant as a reward to our long term holders, as we prepare to launch our first permanent protocol in August, a DAO based balancer pool, which will allow holders to vote on new assets, new pools and new dapps to be developed.
