Clearly you didn't do any DYOR before saying this. Radix is not just another shitcoin, lol. This is a top notch project with the tech that was being built from 2013 with numerous iterations from blockchains to block-trees to DAGs to some kind of a mix of a DAG and stuff as an underlying data structure, with state sharding and pre-fixed shards number and simple to build and secure smart-contracts with Radix Engine (RE).
But the most important thing is that it's going to be linearly scalable with the focus at (very popular at the moment) DeFi. What more could you even ask for?
So 1 year lockup seems legit to me.
