I had use many antivirus software like Windows defender, ESET, Avast, Bitdefender, but I have recently installed Protegent Antivirus in my system and it is amazing and doesn’t affect the system performance.
This anti-virus is new to me.

How long have you been using that Anti-Virus? and if it's good with performance, how's the detection of malware and other threats to your PC?

I have always used Kaspersky Antivirus, but recently switched to the AVG Antivirus and I think this is the best antivirus.

I used Avast for the longest time, but there were some problems with everyday use as things started to slow down.
Now I've gone with Norton thanks to that comparison - https://websitehowto.org/norton-vs-avast/.
Right now, it seems like the right decision.

Norton Antivirus seems to be the simplest I exploit myself tons of fun Day by day Norton is occupying all types of markets Norton features a different reputation as a little resource and lightweight software. However repeatedly Norton deletes various patch files or crack files albeit there's no virus Much safer for computer security.

For me, I love and prefer to use the Bitdefender program, it is very reliable and safe and it was established since 1997 and has a great and strong protection force and I advise everyone to use it

I hope my PC doesn't get raped for me typing this but I don't use an antivirus. I haven't used one in years.

I just don't click on any popup ads, I have ad-blocker and when I'm browing... choicier websites I'm just more careful.

I do install a few suspicious .exe files every now and then but I assess the risk everytime. So far, so good.

In fact I would like to commend you for posting this I seldom see people who are in windows and yet do not have an anti virus installed it can be done really as long as you know every warning sign and you are educated on what to click and not to click and what to install and what are not you can also have a deepreeze installed and you don't have any anti virus and it will work fine.

I prefer the ESET NOD32 antiVirus antivirus, but it all depends on each taste.

I use Bitdefender antivirus. I've already tested a lot of antiviruses but this one is the best for me. I use the IObit pc optimizer inbuild Bitdefender engine.

Exactly how many hours you use the internet every day? Because you need a good antivirus if you use the internet for a long time every day. Also you know most virus attack our computer from internet.

If you have a cheap laptop, the antivirus will make it difficult for you to work on the laptop, so it's best not to use it at all. And if you still want to use, then you can choose any known antivirus, they are all about the same.

Windows Defender works fine. The last time I got a virus was over a year ago when I wasn't using an adblocker and something got downloaded on my PC. I also use the free version of Malwarebytes to occasionally scan my computer.

Today, there are a huge number of anti-virus, and for the most part, they are useless, antiviruses need large companies who want to protect valuable data, and the usual hard workers users if you have nothing to hide except for the folder with homework at 17gb, if you know what I mean)), nothing apart from the usual worms and trojans you can hardly find a mega cool virus that destroys your PC, it will be sufficient to protect ordinary browser extensions, like Yandex browser protect protection. Now I want to make out a few antiviruses that should be avoided in advance I want to say that the ideal antivirus is not, because, first, the virus creates, and only then to develop a tablet, there is already working community, who had to apply to the anti-virus company, and I must say that the Kaspersky Lab in the one step ahead.

I have to disagree with ivanov opinion, antivirus are a good line of defense for any Windows OS computer, helping keep the system safe from the tons of malware that are produced.
