I like using Ad-aware antivirus, its free and does the job. I used to have AVG for a long time due to the same reasons but havent installed it to my new laptop. Ad-aware and f-secure combo including its vpn seems decent enough. It seems I am the only one using ad-aware in this forum though Cheesy BTW, a bit off topic, but has anybody seen the malware musem? - https://archive.org/details/malwaremuseum, thats pretty neat!

I've always been a big fan of Common Sense.

Crypto was created to liberate the individual. Decentralisation matters.

I would like to go for ESET NOD32 antiVirus. I'm using it since year 2017 for my laptop and have found satisfactory result, that I'm loking for. Overall ESET NOD32 is a good antiVirus with affordable cost even they provide free trial "Every Now And Then"

I've tried using ESET.

And I'm satisfied using them.

But by chance, I just uninstalled it again. I want to retain myself having the discipline and practice of avoiding unwanted websites and downloading files.

Now I have free Avast on my PC, but I'm thinking about buying premium version. I read a lot of articles and reviews about this antivirus application, its rating is really high. By the way if you will need to temporarily disable Avast, you can easily do this with this guide from https://antivirus-review.com/blog/how-to-disable-avast-temporarily

Opf my next target Bitdefender , so what do you think? It's good ?

Bitdefender antivirus is really cool. It offers a full-featured package.

It scores high rating compare to other antivirus.

You will get a lot of different answers but for me it is Malwarebytes.

It has kept my computer malware free for over 10 years with no noticeable hit to my computers performance.

This is important to me, plus I don't want something that becomes too intrusive and bugs me to pay more money all the time.
