I see ethereum prices have started to fall again when there was a big dump in bitcoin yesterday that the price collapsed instantly and made a lot of people depressed, so maybe ethereum is now starting to fall again, and will rise again when ethereum launches its project which might happen at the end of the year this, hopefully that prediction can really happen.

Sometime ago, some persons thought ETH was going to crash to $10, I was absolutley waiting for a price dump but not to such ridiculous price. ETH has proven to be the prince of altcoin. Many great projects are been built on the platform, I expect a new ATH this year should this momentum be sustained.

It's really incredible seeing the improvement in the price of ETH from $75 in the beginning of the year to where it is now.  One of the possible reasons could be that of advent of ethereum 2.0.  This has prompted many investors to sell their other altcoins in order to buy ETH and BTC.  This action has also caused the increase in the price of both ETH and BTC.

As far as I remember yesterday ETH went up to $ 420 but it collapsed quickly because bitcoin fell to nearly $ 2000 in just a few minutes, without that collapse I believe now ETH go up to $ 450 or even more like that

It is true that Bitcoin has effect on almost all the altcoins in the market. Somehow the who market is linked to Bitcoin. If bitcoin falls, all other altcoins bleed as well. But in some of the past events, it has been observed that Ethereum has defied that theory and has shown growth even when the market cap was gradually decreasing. If bitcoin is stable or shows steady and consistent changes be it positive or negative, the altcoin market will continue to gain momentum irrespective of how bitcoin is reacting to the market.

I think it is because the upcoming update : ETH 2.0, they are already running the test net.
If ETH become PoS coin, of course every miners won't be able to mining ETH with mining devices anymore, and they might have sold their mining devices and bought ETH coin to stake-mining it in the future when the update is released.

Although ETH is showing good signals, and the price has increased continuously over the weeks. But I think you should not compare it to gems because they are completely different, and the price of crypto is always volatile and can collapse anytime

Perhaps, you are right - people will see ethereum as bullish until they see real results which has nothing to do with how people value a coin irl.
So chances are it will climb up enormous price and then fall to something more digestible
